Choreographer removed or quit?

Keerti and Sharad Kelkar's choreographer Kiran Giri gives us the lowdown

The buzz is that Keerti and Sharad Kelkar have changed their choreographer Kiran Giri after their last performance on 'Nach Baliye 2' (Star One). The judges had blamed the choreographer Kiran Giri for not adding his creativity to the performance.

But Kiran Giri, however, has a different story to tell, "The problem began right from the first rehearsal. The couple would be sitting and smoking and also bring their friends along for the rehearsals. When I would show them some steps, they would say that they cannot do that particular step and make plenty excuses. Keerti would say that she would get tired doing warm ups."

Kiran adds that the couple did not even turn up for the rehearsals for a few days before the second episode was shot. "They were very confident about themselves," he adds.

Incidentally, the judges were pleased with the couple in the first episode and tagged them the cute couple. Kiran has no qualms in claiming the credit for this, "It was because of my choreography that the couple was called a cute couple."

Tell Kiran that the judges claimed that his choreography lacked creativity and that it was copied from the original song and he retorts back, "They would change steps based on their friend's suggestions. They were trying to teach me instead of listening to me."

Kiran has another interesting incident to cite. He says that the couple had initially got 'Shehar Ka Jadoo' song. But the couple asked the channel to change it to 'Ishq kamina' as it was a more peppy number. Kiran also alleged that they had requested the channel not to tell that the judges about this change.

On quitting, Kiran says, "After the show, we were chatting in the vanity van. We had an argument. I told them that my name is getting spoilt and that I would like to quit. At that time, the couple said we will work together.

However, next morning, they called up and said that they were okay with me quitting. They haven't removed me; it is I who has quit. I had a very bad experience working with this pair and Keerti does not even know the A of dancing".

wow..i think if the couple choosed shehar ka jadoo..it would have been better.

thats bad os sahrad and kirti .... u hav to be able to trsut ur choreographer........there is a distinct difference between few jodis and others ......as half are working hard and are completely trusting ofr their jodi

Now there's a couple who is too arrogant. Note of advice to Sharad-Keerti: Arrogance is the cause of destruction.

I posted in other link. This song was wrong becaus kirti gets to dance more. She is not a good dancer. Also it is fast paced which kirti could not handle.So I would say the costume did not suit sharad, song was wrong. They porbabely got over confident after the complemet of cute couple. I hop they get better votes and public sympathy. As i did not like them crying.

That's not fair....I've noticed then whenever there is a controversy most do not believe the stars...there is a stereotype that "oh they are stars they must've done such a thing" these kinds of stereotypes are the ones that let greedy people take advantage...I don't believe that Keerti and Sharad could be sooo arrogant...they really aren't as popular or anywhere close to popular as stars like Hiten and Gauri (who are very successful stars)...they haven't done much in their acting career YET to even be arrogant...so I believe that if really the choreographer was upset and thought the blame belonged to the stars then he should've done that during the show rather than saying the dance steps weren't like the movie and later say that the dance steps were changed by the couple...I think this is all to bring down the couple and bring down the votes...if u guys remember that in Nach Baliye season 1 there was a controversy that Amit and Neeru changed their choreographer and all that brought down Amit and Neeru and caused them to lose lots of votes and soon be voted out...so I think we as fans of stars in general should look at both sides of the story rather than following the stereotype...

the crying really did it..its a competition buck up and make a stand and hard effort........u cant let their comments get to you.......atleast saroj wasnt as personally demeaning to them as she was to Shweta gohil and gauri/ hiten ...the comments were fair according to what they did .......

and the choreographer had also ssaid on tv that the only problem is they aways arrive late and want to change teh steps..this was during reherasal shooting videos......

sharad and keerti have been overconfident......if they get on the ground they can do much much better

Agreed, in all their interviews their overconfidence showed due to their comments and body langauage........and the cute couple comment did go to theur head...and i guess they made a huge mistake by dictating the choreograpgher who is also there to do his job...

But i dont like the fact that they cried, it will get them sympathy votes...and its competition if u cry it only prooves otherwise....u shudnt be part of this competition if ur going to cry over criticism....work harder......and u'll do better

After watching there second performance they were really bad. Though they didn't deserve such harsh comments but it was needed. They were the only couple that instead of being consistant or bettering them self they lacked. They didn't improve from there first performance.
