Who was better and who was not???

Hey All

Its now time to analyse the 2nd Round performance, so can we start? Now that we are over and done with 2 rounds, can we compare the 2 peroformances of each and every jodi and see who was better and who has a dip in their peroformance..... There were jodis who improved from their last performance, while there were few jodis who got a dip when compared to their first performance. so what is your take on the Jodis now?? Who do you think has more capability to be here till the end? Let us analyse...

My take on Jodis:

Jodi 1: Narayani and Gaurav: They are really getting better and better. They are the "Dark Horses". Nobody expected them to perform so well. They were the top scorers yesterday and they really deserved it. They have the capability to remain there and perform even better. They are sure to be in the top 5 as the contest goes on...

Jodi 2: Yash and Gauri: To me, they bettered their 1st performance. Yash was really better this time. Gauri was consistent. I somehow disagree to Saroj ji's comments that they lacked energy. I felt they had the energy level that was needed for that particular song. They deserved to get 2-3 points more than what they got... But, i think they need luck and audience votes too, to survive and sail thro.... They really have the potential to improve!! But, i doubt this, bcos i feel they will be going out in the coming 2-3 rounds...

Jodi 3: Shweta and Manav: They showed a big improvement from last time. Manav is superb as a dancer, Shweta showed real grace and they had a wonderful chemistry going... But what they lack is viewers votes... What i like most in this couple is their hard working nature. They have this never-say die attitude, this is gonna take them a long way, provided they get some support from their fans in the next 2 rounds....

Jodi 4: Shweta and Raja: I can only say that these 2 never did deserve a 30 in the first round. It surprises me that they got a 27 in the 2nd as well... Raja has improved from being a total 0 to a ok dancer. But then, how long can they go, is the question?? If they are here till the solo round, i would really look forward to Raja's solo, that is going to be a performance worth watching....

Jodi 5: Ketki and Rasik: Though they are out of the contest, i cant just stop parising them for their 2nd round performance... Wonderful comeback!!! Great chemistry, great elegance, wonderful steps!! Its sad that they are not there in the contest now!!

Jodi 6: Gurdip and Arjun: As Kunal said, they have been the most consistent performers in the contest.. They have not done a great great job, but still manage to get noticed each and every time with their dance. But, to be here for long, they really need to work hard...

Jodi 7: Hiten and Gauri: Good comeback!!! They danced as Robots in the first round. But in the 2nd, they showed remarkable improvement, great chemistry between the two. Actually, i would say that they deserved a score of 20 or just more than that, for their performance yesterday... They showed that they can dance well if they work hard on it... But, they need not fear for the next few rounds atleast, bcos they hold the tag of being the most favourite Jodi.. and have the biggest fan following, probably... But how far can the fans take them? Or to what extent can they improve to prove their worth to their dedicated fans, is the question???

Jodi 8: Tina and Husain: Tina proved to one and all that she too can dance. Husain was given some bad steps and the choreographers need to look into this... This couple being my favourite , needs to move on... They have all the potential to go to the last 5... They just need to do better and better...

Jodi 9: Keerti and Sharad: Hmmm, i think they got some really harsh words yesterday. The dance was not that bad for SAroj to say " There was nothing in the dance"... I agree they looked a bit odd, but did not deserve that harsh a comments... Hoping that they get thro this and give their best shot in the next round... The audience should help them al ot for them to stay on...

Jodi 10: Tanaaz and Bhaktiyar: This is the Jodi that has promised alot ... They were really good yesterday. As Saroj ji said, Bhaktiyar needs to cool down a bit. They are sure to be there till the last stages of this contest... probably in the top 3....

Now friends, over to you... Please do give your take on how the Jodis have improved or dipped down in their performances...

My take on Jodis:

Jodi 1: Narayani and Gaurav: wow...i will once again compare them to varun and rajeshwari. thier performance was great , they also managed to shake out of thier reserved image a bit this time.the timing, the chemistry , the costumes , everything was great.this couple also seems to experiment the most , after a very western dance in first round they went completely rustic in this one. the only thing i have to say is that gaurav needs to tame his hairs(tie them or cut them). sometimes he looks a bit untidy and ungroomed(though the look worked for him this time)

Jodi 2: Yash and Gauri: they were really good and on the spot this time....i agree with sree that i did not feel any lack of energy given thier song. gauri's strength is in her nakhras and facial expressions and that was exploited to T . yash was really tried too and suceeded to some extent. however i don't foresee them surviving many future rounds since they are not as popular as other jodis and none of thier shows is on tube right now.

Jodi 3: Shweta and Manav: They showed a big improvement from last time.Manav is a great dancer and shweta tried matching him this time. they really made saroj eat her words this time. they are also coming across as the most hardworking. sensitive and supportive couple on the show. i really hope judges and masses can see that and vote for them. personally i love them. the choreographer did a sensible thing by giving different steps to couple that exploited thier strengths and were more in line with thier level of comfort .while manav had more legwork...shweta supplemented with expressions and shy demenour. on a last note... loved manav's getup.

Jodi 4: Shweta and Raja: ok...i still don't understand thier scores.judges are very partial to this couple.this week shweta wins the most tackiest outfit award ....that see through lehanga looked unmatched with the grace of song the were dancing on.raja worked hard and tried but he still has a long way to go. personally this is the most unfairly advantaged jodi this season . also shweeta did good but given her calibre i was looking forward to something more eyepopping or hard.

Jodi 5: Ketki and Rasik: vaah...vaah...thier performance broughtback the memories of yesteryear romance.they did a wonderful job...however thier performance in last round was very bad which accounted for the boot.also i am not sure that they would have survived the modern songs had they stayed.

Jodi 6: Gurdip and Arjun: agree with what sree had to say...only need to add i don't understand cutting so many marks for opening the mouth. also if they need to stay they need to go for something more eyecatching.like they could have included more bhangra steps but they did not.

Jodi 7: Hiten and Gauri: great improvement...hiten really did it....i loved him...gauri is still very stiff but i guess that is on account of her not relaxing. dance is about enjoying and it is something gauri is not doing yet.i alo disagree with saroj about expressions...infact gauri was so focussed on legwork at times her face seemed tense or blank....where was the nakhra and the sausiness. my advice to gauri.... forget about the judges and viewers and think that you are in a vacumm with hiten and you are being saucy and reliving early days of romance...it will improve your dance greatly. however viewers will support this jodi for a while so they still have time to find thier groove without worrying.

Jodi 8: Tina and Husain: they were good ...there is nothing new to say...hussain is a natural...tina is trying to match up and she is improving really fast.the choreographer could have done a better job since he had hussain who is a great dancer. this couple is all lovey-dovey....it feels like they are on honeymoon 24-7 😳 . i must confess ,i feel a little jealous of that feeling that they share.i don't understand judge's attitude towards tina,maybe they are jealous too.

Jodi 9: Keerti and Sharad: despite all the raves , i did not like thier first performance greatly...to me it was average....this week they did work hard....ishq kamina is a very energetic dance and takes a lot of work. while they looked odd....i blame thier choreographer for botching it up ...he really picked the whole dance from the movie along with the context.jury is still out for this jodi.

Jodi 10: Tanaaz and Bhaktiyar: this jodi had the hardest steps of all the jodis and they executed them flawlessly and effortlessly. bakhtiyaar's energy reminded me part of govinda and part of jeetendra . too much of a thing can be painful like the energy of this jodi(they seem to be on some drug honestly). i felt the same last time too but their song did not underline it like this time. anyways still they are the best dancers and will countinue to wow us as long as they learn to tame thier energy.

additionally i have to add...i loved mansi and rohit as hosts ...they were supportive, sweet, encouraging and jovial...really loved rohit's joke on mansi and rhythm.mansi seemed ready to cry when keerti was crying and i find that sweet.

I will not analyse jodies on the basis of their last week and this week's performance.... i feel it is unfair to judge them on the basis of improvement since last performance... they should be judged on the basis of that particular day's performance.... my opinion...

So according to me their ranking for this week is....

1. Gaurav-Narayani 👏 👏
2. Manav-Shweta
3. Tanaaz-Bakhatiyar
4. Tina-Husan
5. Gurdeep-Arjun
6. Ketki-Rasik
7. Gauri-Yash
8. Kirti-Sharad
9. Shweta-Raja.. though Shweta was excellent.. Raja was a total let down 👎🏼
10. Hiten-Gauri

Jodi 1: Narayani and Gaurav: They were undoubtedly the best and performed well with energy and enthu.The best thing that I like abt oth is they are very level headed with no crying or sqealing or shrieking like the other couples basically no high drama or reaction from these both which makes them look very dignified.

Jodi 2: Yash and Gauri: They were nice,I agree with u oth that they performed according to the song and hence it may look like thier energy is lacking but it suited perfectly for the song that they were dancing to .

Jodi 3: Shweta and Manav: Big improvement from last time as the judges said .I though shwetha has worked extra hard to make the judges eat their words. Manav was as always good and the best part is he is very subdued and casual in his dancing and thats his plus point.Great pair and I hope they get enough votes to go ahead in the coming episodes.

Jodi 4: Shweta and Raja: They are very smart and they are concentaring on strategy . The choreographers are making sure that the focus is on shwetha and that the song suits her and their dance as well.I must say though that raja did perform all his steps well and there was a marked improvement in his dancing and he didnt lose his timing .I thought they deserved the points mainly bcoz as a dancing couple ,their performance looked good,only if u look at them separately one tends to say its unfair .As i said their choreographers are very smart and covering up for raja's inability to match steps with shwetha

Jodi 5: Ketki and Rasik: It was a nice cute performance and they were very graceful i accepting their defeat and I loved ketaki's speech that everyone has to go either early or in the end but one couple has to go

Jodi 6: Gurdip and Arjun: Agree completely with the judges esp kunal that they are consistent and dance well too .Hope to see them go one notch up in thier dancing and progress accordingly

Jodi 7: Hiten and Gauri : great improvement from last time.They werent that stiff and hiten was a treat to watch.They still arent the best though and they have a lot of work to do esp gauri coz she doesnt seem to enjoy dancing and it shows .

Jodi 8: Tina and Husain: They were good but i felt that hussain's steps were badly choreographed and hence he was not able to life their performance .Tina was very good though

Jodi 9: Keerti and Sharad: They werent that bad that they received so much flak,yes,the choreography was bad but then cant blame sharad and keerti for that .Hope they get enough votes and do well next time.

Jodi 10: Tanaaz and Bhaktiyar: They were very good but then again I thought they overdid it and bakthiar's comments showed a little bit of over -confidence when he said that they need to come down to others levels

Tanaaz and Bhaktiyar: 😆 😆 😆 ..on drugs.. 😆 😆 ..they did seem to have too much energy..that too much when he is doing his steps feels like he is jumping rather than dancing..its not graceful..i hope they mellow down a little next time.

i find no more words to say anything... i wanted to say has been already said. but i do not agree the way judges are giving scores to some of the couples!!!! 😭 😭

Rohit and Manasi were far better hosts than Sachin and Supriya. Everything about Sachin-Supriya was bad. Their costumes, their compering, their marathi talk. They were very bad. Manasi and Rohit were superb 👏

Now to dancers. This is my ranking.

1. Gaurav-Narayani - Superb 👏- I am sure they are in top3
2. Manav-Shweta
3. Tina-Hussain
4. Tanaaz-Bakhtiyaar
5. Shweta-Raja
6. Gurdeep-Arjun
7. Ketki-Rasik

I certainly agree that Rohit and Mansi compered far better than Sachin and supriya. They both seemed to be at ease in this compering job... Hats off to them1!! 👏
