Why are all the old topics locked?

i want to bring to the notice of mods and members that all the lovely old topics are closed and locked( yes now nb2 starting, but even long before)...if the show is going on, if the forum is there all the topics sud be active and alive sud anyone wnat to comment, so i'll humbly request mods to kindly unlock the topics that are very lovely and close to our heart and are of immense sentimental and nostalgic value for memebers like me.
