Actually you are mistaken. Zain himself said numerous times that he kept refusing the role of Neil khanna due to the failure of yeh vaada raha's post leap track, so he decided to never take a role for a show midway as in post-leap, but he finally said yes due to mahesh Bhatt's convincing.

It's his professional place .he can't stay with his fans emotion n feelings always. Fans demand many things but he definitely knows how calculatively he will have to go with his profession. We are nobody to choose him what he should take n what he shouldn't take. There are huge rivalry between sanay n dhrasti's fans but does it mean for winning their individual fans ego they will break their long times dosti. Definitely not. Today fans are bashing zain terribly because nk fans ego has been hurted due to his entry in IB but it's zain's life his choice n he welly knows what's he doing so if they are real fans of zain they should give him take a breath from his previous show now. Zain has bad luck that he has gotten such fans whether he does anything different of adiza, nk based ppl start to badmouth him, bash him.

It's high time zain should close his comment box in ig. Are these ppl kidding that they want zain stays whole life with the memory of naamkaran as Neil khanna to them. I can't believe this.

That ishqbaaz fandom are pathetic. They're acting like Zain went begging directly to Gul for a role in the show. I bet that's what they've made themselves believe. 😆 They obviously have no idea how casting works. The production house or casting team for the show approach the actor, especially if the actor is known by someone from the team for a previous role and is felt to either fit the bill of the role or they are simply interested in casting said actor as the team are eager to get the actor on board. Considering Zain has done a negative role before and familiar to them due to having just worked in star plus, they must have approached him for that reason too. Often casting choices are also made/suggested by the channel, so Zain was either approached by ishqbaaz casting team, the production house or channel suggested him. Ishqbaaz fandom need to stop acting delusional that Zain got this role because he's jobless or Gul offered him the role just to show him up. So stupid! They don't know how the industry works so should shut it.

I'm also not going to watch IB despite his entry as IB is totally messy show n as he maybe will do negative role then I'm not interested to watch him in any negative role but this isn't meant I've right to bash him on his personal decision. You can politely ask him not to choose this role as suggestion but say him selfish, you have no self respect, you kill our adiza dream, you won't succeed ever, cheater , behind money etc etc are completely untenable.
