oh! Never thought from this angle. This could actually be a possibility. Because He does realise how much fans want to see him opposite only Aditi, and as an actor he might want them to move on now that the show has ended and accept whats to follow. He even mentioned this in the lal ishq press conference. He said "comments yeh padne ko mil rahi hai ke, Mahi ke jagah aditi hoti toh acha hota". He had a sarcastic tone i felt. But then covered up saying Acha hai.

Also, Rakesh replied to a fan's message saying that he would conduct the segment once he is back and when both the actors are free. So let's see how this goes.
