I just saw KCL in afternoon as coz I really wanted to knw what actually the show is...but I really got bored within 1sec... I am not at all saying this coz I am a adiza nk nd avneil fan but genuinely I pretty much pity the taste of the people who watch the show

An indication to a good show is when people love it and want to discuss the good and the bad. If you look at KCL there is barely any discussion and barely any tweets. Take a look at you tube or Twitter - there is barely any discussion.

This may be another show that the old ladies in the house love and watch. That is probably why it is fetching this 1.5 TRP. Honestly it is tough to watch that show. The ML is irritating plus this concept maybe true in the way off remote villages but for major part of India, I don't think this applies.

I personally love shows that potray women as equal and strong. Cannot stand KCL rubbish.

At some point ITV needs to figure how to cater shows for the working group. The working group watches TV online rather than on TV. I am sure the advertisers who are looking for TRP are looking for this kind of target group who have disposable income. What is the point of getting TRP from the wrong group?

Atleast as an advertiser, I would want to target the right group.

Naagin is the only one with huge trps prolly coz of its huge brand name and those fascinating stuffs of snakes they show on screen which keeps viewers still hooked. Even toppers like kkb and kb are not crossing 3 mark which they had easily did before IPL.

Pakistani channels like hum tv are gaining a lot of viewers both internationally and in india. I live in the uk, and during the few months I was having issues with my tv box and only had hum europe to watch, it was the first time I saw pakistani serials, and the shows were actually really good. The acting was natural and not cheesy or overdone like indian serials, and the stories and characters were realistic. Even on social media I have been seeing people talking more and more about pakistani serials. Plus more and more people are watching online rather than tv. Indian tv is truly on a downwards spiral as it refuses to catch up on the fact most viewers are online, plus the rating system doesn't even record or count all viewers, especially not international viewers.

The ratings of KCL aren't good. The only reason why shows like kcl are getting a good position on ratings charts is because for some reason the average ratings are dropping for GEC's. All shows are seeing a major drop even more than IPL time, which must mean the audience have slowly had enough of indian serials maybe, and shifted elsewhere. This means that shows are able to rank high in ratings list even with rubbish ratings when every show is scoring lower than before. It's hard to believe that at one point indian serials during kyunki saas time used to get trp's of 20+ whereas now the highest a few get is the likes of naagin with 4+ trp's. This proves most people don't watch indian tv on tv.

Yeah you are right!! All this must be relative. That's a relief. You know, in a way I am happy that ITV viewership is declining so much. It is high time they change the content,once and for all.

Exactly!! At its best Naamkarann had a higher trp than this KCL.Not to mention the digital fanbase which is non-existant for KCL. SP really killed it's golden egg giving goose.
