Awards are to motivate and encourage talent. When it is not fair, the respect and trust people have for that award show goes down.

I'm not sure about tv...but my opinion about Bollywood awards like the filmfare awards is that it seems very fair to me. I know SRK who was not from a film background unlike Aamir and salman got nominated and won from the beginning of his career is because he's a fantastic actor . If you look at Srks acting when he started off and Amir and salman and their respective movies you could see thst srk outshone them...he was so ready to try the alternate like in baazigar thst he won his first award for. As for our Adiza I thought they were brilliant as Avneil..When they cried ..we cried... I really don't know how they could.not be nominated ..and NK was a top show internationally, locally and online...it's very disappointing

The ph has to send the applications for the categories of their shows. That is how it usually works. Maybe the ph hasn't send nominations for Nk or the team behind Gold awards decided not to go ahead to nominate Nk. Either way it is the show's loss, which by the way happens every damn time🥱

Honestly the winners list are just so weird. Jennifer got an award when the show is relatively new as compared to many others. Not sure if there are any other actresses with commendable performance with longer running shows as I don't follow ITV. The Jodi award came as a surprise that IB didn't win. Non TRP garnering performances were also winning award, not sure if is biased or the performance was indeed good.

Anyways NK was not even nomintated but both Adiza just got more fans generously who will last longer than any award can give them.
