Chemistry and the lack thereof

We now have a story where everyone is wrong except Bebe, Prakash and Sunheri.

People (including me) have already written a lot about why Avni, Neil, Mitali and Shweta are each wrong in different ways. We are all right. Everyone is wrong and everyone is right.

What has that meant for the viewers or at least for me?

There is absolutely no chemistry between any of the chracters. Neil and Mitali have no chemistry between them but sadly neither do Neil and Avni. Correct me if I am wrong but the last scene with any chemistry between Avni and Neil was that fantastic scene when Neil gets drunk. Is there any scene after that?Maybe it is the fact that the actors knew that the serial was coming to an end, maybe it is the script, maybe it is everything. But right now when I watch Avni and Neil I truly feel like whatever was between them is also dead. They look like a middle aged couple who are disillusioned with life and love. Maybe that makes them either very good actors and makes this a true Mahesh Bhatt serial.

But as a viewer, as a desperate Avneil loving fan, it is leaving me really sad and disappointed.

Agreed. This Neil has no remorse for whatever he is doing. The writers have totally butchered Neil's character that we are unable to connect. No chemistry between Neil and Mithali. Thatrelationship looks forced and awkward. It looks more like brother sister.

This. This is exactly what I felt too while watching today's epi, even their fighting didn't remind me of their old bickering days. Their scenes are totally disconnected now for me. Avni has become a momma bear who has no time for love and Neil has turned into Prakash, the mute spectator. This 10 year leap ruined everything between them, but they still could've salvaged something by showing Avneil's proper emotions and them struggling to stay apart. But thanks to Avni it was more than easy for Neil to move on and now he's turned into a Ashish Mehta. And Mahesh Bhatt finally got his old story back in the end after all.

Btw hate Aditi's costumes overall they're so unflattering and make her look middle aged.

I Don't blame anyone here that is bcoz suddenly wen u r told abt the last date to wrap up they made avneil mogli kid and even the writer said there are many interference in the script SP decided to bring third angle for trp .they would have given some avneil moments but trp is important for SP.everything was decided in the last minute originally this wasn't planned even Kabir said that he was not playing pillu

chemistry is coming across between Avneil because of the writing. Today I found Neil to be expressionless and flat during the scenes with Avni ...it's probably because of the situation he is in at the moment ...he's not angry with her anymore .. he's just interacting with her .because he appears confused ...he doesn't know what to feel ..Zain is usually fantastic with emotions ...be it anger, humour, sadness or happiness...but I think today he came across as flat because Neil is actually confused. He doesn't know what to feel towards Avni as the anger is gone . So even when Avni was lashing out at him..and telling him that he hurt her..he was quiet and confused. Also he hasn't had much dialogue with Avni so he's not expressing any emotion . So we are not getting any chemistry coming across ...because Neil doesn't know what emotion to display. Even when they showed him and Avni have some hand touching moments ...he looked confused. Avni is displaying far more emotions in the last two weeks ..but I think in the coming episodes things are going to change ..

Trust me you aren't wrong . I have thus feeling from the moment when Neil found Avni after she runs away from the court . The only difference is Neil is shuffling between his promise and emotions . He wants Avni badly and is still affected by her mere touch but goes on with the marriage as he believes Avni has moved on . After watching the episode I felt Avni has completely moved on from him .

@Bold Ok I know writers changed, AvNeil don't behave the way we expected them to behave according to old writers' vision, we are all AvNeil fans so no one would like a teesra between them BUT can we if possible avoid irrelevant comparisons because mind you they are most of the time unfair

How is Neil Ashish!!!

Neil didn't leave her, she left him whatever be the reason, she broke some important rules of partnership and love: trust and taking the other's opinion into consideration. She initated the separation, she didn't show any signs of wanting to come back to him even after he discovered she is alive, even after Vidyut died, let's not use that dialogue of her when she said "u don't want to stay with me and u don't want to forgive me", because it doesn't equate her showing that she really wants to stay since every single time she packs her bags and she is ready to leave, actions speak louder if u see, she freed him from the rishta and she broke her promises and made him azad of his promises, they are divorcees, so he can move on even if we don't like it, ethically, legally he is not to be blamed and he didn't leave his son or refuse to give him his name, he rather fought for his rights on his son, so how does that make him Ashish Mehta!!! He doesn't fight for his relationship with Avni because she is the one who gave up on it and not because he is weak to fight! she gave up on it when she chose not to fight for him, when she asked another woman to fight for her husband telling her to follow what her heart says instead of herself practicing what she preaches

I know as women and as believers in that idealistic image of love where a person should never move on even if the other person shows she moved on, as people who hate third angles we don't like what Neil is doing but I find it highly unfair to blame him for everything now, feminism and women empowerment doesn't mean u overlook a woman's mistakes!

I think the new writers achieved by sowing too much of Neil Mitali ,so that audience get sympathy for Avni ,which was not being possible before
