Hello to you all. I am fairly a silent reader, I am always lurking on the forum and have made a few comments here and there. Naamkaran is very near and dear to my heart so thought of it going off air is really hard for me to cope with. It feels likw a part of me is being snatched from me and I am unsure how to deal with te loss. I wrote this up as a draft in my notes in an attempt to make me feel better and thought others may need it too. I have never written anything before so please forgive any mistakes I have made. I am also not great at hindi but I tried with the dialogue. Any feedback will be appreciated, hope you guys enjoy. Much love, Reena
The sun peaks through the curtains of our beloved couple. A particular ray hits her eye as she wriggles in her sleep and settles into her favourite spot. Her hair, messy and sprawled out across her pillow but her face buried deep in the neck of her husband. Mrs Khanna...' Neil whispers. Certain she has no intention of waking up Neil lets out a long sigh and relaxes deeper into the mattress. Finally, Mr Neil Khanna feels complete. His entire world is settled comfortably in his arms. He glances at the clock *9am*. He groans and slowly makes his way out of the room.
Avni wakes up soon after to an empty room. She stretches and makes her way to the bathroom to freshen up. Once ready, she begins to search the house for her husband, yeh Neil bhi na, subah subah kaha chale gaya.' She walks past the kitchen and sees a sight that makes her stop in her tracks.

Neil puts the finishing touches on the tray full of delicious breakfast treats. Avni quickly runs back into the room and lays in bed, waiting for her two loves to enter. Mumma Mumma utho!' Mowgli yells whilst running into the room. Avni pretends to yawn as if she has just woken up. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!' both Neil and Mowgli shout as Avni beams, happiness pouring out of her eyes at this wonderful surprise her husband and son have bought for her. Eat na mumma'. Mowgli's order broke Avni out of her trance and she shakes her head and slowly begins picking at the eggs on her plate, trying to keep Mowgli happy. Neil quickly rushes out and enters in a few seconds Mowgli we forgot the most important part' as he hands Avni a bowl of her favourite poha. Avni smiles wide and digs in. All three of them eat breakfast, really taking in the rare quality time they get in their hectic lives.
Neil, yahi khushiyon ki liye mere dono maa tarasray the, aaj mujhe sab khushiyon milge' Avni sighs when sitting in the car. The couple had just paid their respects to Ayesha ma and Neela ma and were on their way to visit all the other mothers in their lives. After paying a quick visit to Nanno and getting her blessings, Neil and Avni enter the Khanna mansion with gifts for Bebe and Shweta. Both the ladies showered their blessings on the couple after receiving the beautiful handcrafted hampers. Wow looks how beautiful Bebe, dekho kitna acha gift diya hai Tillu aur Avni mujhe' Nahi mummy ji, Tillu nahi, sirf Avni' Avni interjects her mother in law's appreciation. Sab mene kiya' she adds, sticking her tongue out at Neil while he widens his eyes, shocked at this betrayal. Haw Tillu, meri Avni toh best nikli, Tillu gets zero points' Shweta giggles along with Avni. Not fair mom, Avni, tum toh meri mom ko churaliya' Nahi, churaiya nahi, mene uski dil main jagah banaya' she gleams and walks into the room with Shweta, the duo laughing away. This is the moment Neil had always wanted to see, his Avni is happy, finally.
