After seeing Neil feeding Avni in the promo of BTDD segment, I thought of sharing a conversation I had few days before with a friend of mine, where I discussed with her ideas about scenes I'd want AvNeil to have after the jail track.
"He felt guilty as she ran away to save him and took the blame for being Neo but he doesn't know the rest of things she went through, I wish he came to know about them and reacted on that.
I want a scene where he cries and sits on one knee and holds her hands and asks her to forgive him (though he wasn't the one inflicting that on her) and kissing her hands and then resting his head on her lap, I want the same position like the one they had when she wanted to leave him for Mishti and he told her that Avni hai to Neil hai. I want him to tell off that jailor and take strict action against her.
Now to their happy moments :
I want them to show him pampering her after jail, just sweet little gestures, bringing her breakfast to the room/bed, tucking her in bed before she sleeps and kissing her head and covering her at night, kissing her forehead, or just hugging her in bed and caressing her hair or cheek with so much love and affection, helping her with things.
We don't need anything bold or anything out of reach, just sweet little gestures/details yet full of meaning.
Gifting her something she has always wanted, I know she wants a happy family but I want him to come to know about something she always wanted to do or have and make it possible for her,
and after that a holiday or a weekend somewhere where they consummate, after some sweet little surprises by him and a heartfelt conversation where they go down the memory lane and then just keep looking at each other silently with so much love, and emotionally as they know they are now blessed to finally have overcome their hurdles, near death experiences and they are finally together and happy, I want them to feel happy, appreciate what they have and feel grateful for it.
I don't want consummation to happen immediately, they can go do some activities together, visit an orphanage, go to some amusement park and play like kids in a carefree way (rides/carousel), eat icecream and poha, then a dinner in a place Avni likes with him arranging for a film there.
The dinner and the film viewing can be in an open area, a private garden or something on these lines, they can have dinner there, watch the film, dance, talk, lay down and look at the stars, hug each other and be in so much peace.
We don't need any remarriage honestly, we just want them happy at least for sometime, and it's a long overdue"
