It's really sad to see the decrease in trp. Even I watch NK online since at 9 my parents sit with remote in their hand and dada,dadi,mamma everyone likes watching typical saas bahu rona dhona where the FL does nothing expect giving service 24*7 to their in laws. Listening to their taunts and all sorts of other stupidity. And they even keep saying that we like family drama and not couple drama and then remote never comes into my hand. My dad is after Discovery science and so only option left is online viewing and nowadays due to jio that's easier. Even most of my friends watch shows online. Every house has this typical story. New generation never likes all this type of stupidity and previous generation never comes out of all this kind of stupidity.
I guess since I am an overseas viewer that got into Indian shows a few years ago, this issue has never been there for me. I watch online and always have. I watch on Hotstar or even Rip sites if needed. The obsession with Pathetic Bahu and spineless ML is not something I understand. It is outside my experience and the background I come from.
I am sure many think it's crap but they keep watching it. I do like family drama, but not crying and pathetic female lead. I also dont like manhandling ML's who keep calling FL as characterless.
Our show has such unique leads, not to mention Neil who is like a breath of fresh air and Avni who is not a typical Bahu at all. Even when she tried to be one, she was not a sad do gooder! I wish more people would appreciate it, and also the great acting on this show.
