Bang on post, I couldn't agree more. Maybe I'm not a true fan or something but I personally find live chats super cringe...I never watch them or the recorded ones that pop up on my feed. As you said, there is just something so awkward about them. Neither do I follow ANY of the stars on my social media because I firmly believe that a line needs to be drawn. I know it's a little extreme but i'm just not comfortable.

Although most followers of this show are level headed, reasonable people, there are a few who are unfortunately VERY intrusive with regards to how both Zain and Aditi conduct themselves offscreen. Zain is not going to get away blame free here either because he is very well aware of this group of fans and yet I found his behaviour last night to be odd, it was almost like adding fuel to the fire.

He is a public figure, recognised and followed by many and although he should have the freedom to do watever he wants and party with whomever he wants, he needs to understand that conducting himself in a certain manner offscreen is in the best interests of himself, his costars and fans. I think it was a lot better and easier around 15 years ago when social media wasn't that big and reaching out to your fans wasn't as easy as it is now. We would watch the shows with our only concern being the onscreen characters and not worry about who gets on to what when they are not shooting. It was simple and blissful.

when Aditi and her boyfriend were targeted by the fans, Aditi also reacted and posted comments to the haters on her social media

she in fact wrote to the haters "that if you cannot say anything good, then don't post anything"

Basically what happened was ...Gautam Hedge posted the promo which revealed that Neil is not Mishti's father. He added a post with that promo which was aimed at fans who had bashed him for the kid track. The comments were a bit sarcastic but not rude. He tagged the stars and wrote "Aditi Singh Rathore" in that post and fans started bashing her that she is married and lying about her relationship!

First of all she is a rajput from Rajasthan and most Rajputs use "Singh" as the middle name. Secondly if she were married she would use Singh in the end, not in the middle! Bascially people don't use their brains and just started bashing Aditi. The timing of this post was wrong because Aditi had just started re following her BF. She got bashed left right and center and many wanted her replaced in NK. Anyways she unfollowed him soon after.

Personally speaking live chats are cringy! What does one talk about other than exchange pleasantries.

I am still not sure what Zain did but he needs to be careful in how he conducts himself on social media. I understand he has no time for live chat or has his reasons for not doing it. It is okay but reacting to immature fans n stooping to their level puts him in bad light. Stardom is tough to handle and one needs to be thick skinned to rise above such things. Zain has a lot more to lose than the rest of the gang so he got to be extremely careful! You cannot let success get to your head because those who make you rise can pull you down too!!

Its jus gettin too annoyin.. now these crazy bunch want Zain to b replaced.. wats really wrong wit these gurls i dnt understand.. THese gurls dnt find any wrong in sayin al kind of mean tbings to Nalini .. Zain posted a pic of his n Nalinis close wala to taunt them for fun i guess not sure so these gurls r bashin him on n on n now want him replaced for playin Neil.. disgusting is these gurls mindsets.. sorry no offense to any1..My only question how can a woman degrade another at such a low level

this just tells you how deluded these fans are that they think they can throw off an actor from the Tv show.

first wanted Aditi replaced and now zain.

they have the God syndrome where they think they have the ultimate power.

As if the production house is going to listen to these people for actors who are making their serial run.

I have't read the whole thread but I did read the original comment and @Sammy17, you're absolutely correct.

Fans do go overboard- being demanding of the actor's time. It's not fair. This is their job. Zain's job is being Neil and after the shots are done, he goes back to being Zain. Who he hangs out with, or what he does with his own time cannot be dictated by anyone.

Speaking of his time, I personally had a feeling that he was being pressured into doing a live chat, and he wasn't comfortable with it. And maybe he did lie about being sick, so what? You're being overly demanding and that's not fair either and no, it's not a requirement of his job. His job is literally acting on camera and maybe doing a couple of interviews with a reporter. Not to be live on his personal account and say hi to random people and say their name.

That being said, I think the drama that was happening off screen was little bit of everyone's fault.

I hate that Gul, Bharka, but specially Nalini and Purvi get bashed for hanging out with him. Why are only the girls getting bashed? Why not Zain himself? He's there too. He's in the pictures with them. It's not like anyone is twisting his arm and forcing him to be in the picture. He's an adult and clearly capable of making his own decisions.

I would say that Zain was being immature on social media, in my personal opinion. Like someone mentioned ( possibly in another thread), Zain's actions on social media can affect his career and right now, he's probably doing his best on TV, and acting immaturely may affect his career. But again, that's his decision to make. Though, if he wants to be childish ( because sometimes you need that outlet), then maybe don't post it on social media. Keep your life under wraps.

Coming to Nalini, her words " let's put it for the haters" is again very immature, and very petty. I would think that as actors, they would understand that the jobs title comes with bashing from fans. Not that that justifies the action of fans. However, if she's going to go around bashing the fandom in turn, I can't say that I'm surprised that people would throw it back in her face. The fact that she deactivated her IG account, just goes out to show that she can't handle what she's been served and what clearly she's been egging on.

I do not condone people bashing Nalini for hanging out with Zain. I wish she would have the courage to own up to what she has sown instead of hiding out.

As for Jahan, I'm not even sure why he would get himself involved in a fight that didn't involve him originally. And then go about to deactivating his IG account as well.

I find that people in general love to post things on social media where they want people to know what they're up to and for people to comment on their lives. The actors could have chosen to spend a Friday night out being who they are without posting anything on IG/Snapchat, and just enjoyed their night between friends. They chose to post things online and get comments; and unfortunately some of those comments will be negative.

It's situations like this that makes you appreciate Aditi more for being sensible and more reserved. She may be younger than the rest of the NK cast, but she seems to be wiser. She clearly has a life, but it's never splashed all over social media for everyone to comment on. She does her job on set, mingles with her co-workers and then heads on to her own life, where none of us are allowed in, because that's her personal life.

You know day I realized the extent to which certain' fans can go to is when one of Aditi's fc's abused her using the c word. I was completely shocked, I've never come across such situation where fans bashed their own favorite more than haters. Those days her bf was wrong he used to write utter bs on comments but fans were no less, ordering Aditi to break up, being racist towards her bf, accusing her of lying and being married then asking for her replacement etc

Coming to Zain it's clear he is super uncomfortable doing a live chat even though he keep promising to come live. Even I don't see the point cuz unlike an interview, questions asked in live are not filtered and anyone can ask any rubbish question without consequence. At the end it's the actor who gets embarrassed cuz they see everything that is being said on their screen. Ppl were already upset with him for this when all this excess drama happened last night.

I wonder if Aditi and Zain gets this much unwanted attention towards their personal lives cuz out of all the mainstream couples on tv they're the only ones who are supposedly single. Nakul is married,Surbhi in steady r'ship, Diivyanka Karan both married, Shivangi Mohsin already dating so are leads of KKB one married one in r'ship. So that leaves our poor leads only who are single, hence fans believe they can dictate whatever about their personal lives. It's really sad to see them receiving hate from their own fans.
