Today RP and Vidyut's telephonic conversation gave some insight into Vidyut's troubled childhood .

May be Vidyut's own mother left him and Ragini married Vidyut's father who used to physically abuse Vidyut and Ragini. Then one day to protect Vidyut from his father Ragini might have killed him that landed her in jail and Vidyut felt obliged to her. Hence, Ragini occupied a very prominent place in his life and Ragini made him the heir of her criminal activities. Then Vidyut fell for Mehr and since RP didn't want to lose her heir, so brainwashed him to torture Mehr while keeping her captive in Rangmahal.
