NK has always done something different and I want them to do the same here too. Like how they handled the Ali jealousy track. It was to be expected that he would be jealous and angry at the turn of events. He waited for Avni for 15 years and then Neil just whizzed in and she became his. Especially considering how they got married Ali had even bigger issues. But we saw that track play out and in the end the "Best" outcome is what we got. Much better than Ali turning into a psycho lover and doing the same old "cliche" shown in every story.

The same applies for Juhi. She is a "Pivotal" character as stated by Mahesh Bhatt himself. Even if not as important as Ali, she is also an important character in the scheme of things. When Neil was introduced the "ghost" of Juhi was introduced too. We saw he was still thinking of and occasionally talking to a "lost" person. We saw him remembering her in the course of his marriage to Rhea. He sees her give him a sign to move on, putting his hand in a hand, and when he turns around it's Avni standing there. He calls Avni "Juhi" when he thinks her life is in danger. We see Avni had already taken Juhi's position or should we say importance in Neil's life by then. So by no means is Juhi a character that can just be dismissed. She is a part of Neil's story. The Neil Khanna we love so much is the way he is partly because of her and what his relationship with her taught him. It made him go in a different path to the one he was on. He decided to become a Cop, a protector of truth and justice. It was because of this that he met Case 123, Avni aka Ananya and fell in love with her. Juhi cant just be dismissed.

Therefore, I hope they show why she has convinced herself this child is Neil's. Just like they are establishing Vidyut, they need to show the Juhi-Vidyut backstory for all this to make sense. I do believe that either Juhi is in denial or she is blocking the truth of the child's paternity even to herself as a coping mechanism. It's possible that Vidyut forced himself on her. But how and why is something we need to wait and see. He doesn't seem like a rapist, so there is clearly a lot more to this than a simple act of violence.

Personally, I believe treating Juhi as a "Vamp" who is just here to steal Neil is a VERY bad idea. It devalues the whole story and makes this show just like every other pathetic show where the Ex comes back with villainous intent. I for one hope they don't do such a useless cliche here!

Cvs didn't drag the Ali track this much. They covered only that is required to give a logical end to Ali's one sided love.
But this Juhi track is being stretched since a long time. They could have given a break to Juhi by sending her to coma and then she could have gained consciousness after few months and then started again her emotional atyaachar. By the time we could have enjoyed some light AvNeil moments and prepared ourselves for the next drama. Back to back AvNeil missions are too much to digest

Don't know whether Juhi is lying or she herself thinks that Neil is the Father of the child. Yesterday's episode Neil mentioned that they both were drunk and he don't remember what exactly happened ...he told Neelama that he remember going to his room alone...not with Juhi ...So he would have left Juhi at wherever place they got drunk...Juhi also under intoxication like Neil couldn't recall what happened...Somebody would have taken advantage of her ..may be Vidhyut .So when she got pregnant she would have naturally thought it's Neil's baby...
On a serious note are the family members aware abt their engagement?...they often referred Juhi as Neil's Girlfriend not fianc

@Dragon:

Even I was irritated by the back to back missions and the ruin of the white wedding and Avni's proposal. But the "drama" quotient in those episodes were high. Let's hope their end goal "TRP" has been achieved by this, coz if not the fans were tortured for nothing.

But ATM the episodes are good. Even without AvNeil in the same frame much this week the episodes were really good. This proves the NK CV's ability to use all the characters well. Everyone is built into the narrative and have a chance to bring in their contribution to the ongoing track.

The Best example is Shweta. Even though I agree this track has run for a long time, the Redemption of Shweta started because of this track. Finally, she has seen the Light. So there are good things that have come out of this track and also will in future. I think another thing would be Neil finally realizing that he "Idolized" his relationship with Juhi and even Juhi too much. Neither that relationship nor she was exactly as he thought or remembered. What he has with Avni is 1000 times better and IS the real deal. This is his Beyhadh pyaar, his once in a lifetime love. This love he could never have had with anyone BUT Avni. I hope he realises that, and I think to some extent he already has!

I dont think it was an "official" engagement with a party or any such thing. I think he is referring to the evening she proposed to him and he said Yes. They clearly went a bit too liberal with the champagne that night.

@bold I will be very happy if at the end of this track or during this track Neil realizes this. I want to see a proper Neil's monologue on this or Neil telling this to Sweta
