Naj at your insistence I am posting this and thanks for the title.. PS: These are my views and yes there are assumptions made based on the dialouges and the scenes. The creatives may show full picture or may not. But the art of story telling is that it is left to the audience to interpret it.

I just thought of this NK CVS are weaving beautiful story on life and relationships. Life comes full circle and I believe in it. Here also life has come full circle. Earlier when Avni was broken from her past and she had no place for love. It is Neil who held her hand to give her justice. He slowly broke down her walls of hurt. He made her believe in love again. He made her trust relationships showed her beauty of family.

Now life has come full circle.

It is Neil who is broken from guilt. Guilt of not able to save a woman he loved from a hell hole. From getting raped. From getting sold. He will get a closure to this guilt only when Juhi gets back her child who is only ray of hope for her. So Avni is now helping the person who taught her love to give a closure. She is mending his broken and burdened soul with guilt. She is reciprocating it because that is the love she has understood. Love which is not selfish.

And in the end of it even if they mutually agree to Neil giving the child his name. What is wrong in it. It is second to adoption. What is wrong if they adopt the child. World need not end there and they can have their child also.

I second ur each and every word It is Avni turn to support Neil which she is doing marvelously well and will be doing so I don't find anything wrong if Neil give his name to the kid ( Avni should be part of this decision ) or they adopt the kid which I think has high possibility because kid was having mock shoot with Aditi.

Thanks for it. Exactly if Avni is part of the decision to give Neil's name to the child, then it should be okay right. I am definitely not in favor of Neil taking that decision on his own. But if it is a mutual decision what is wrong in it.

As long as Avni knows the truth and the full truth, and then makes a decision herself its fine. I feel her mahanta could be attributed to her childhood problems. She's not normal like us mortals 😆 and probably is ready to go to any extent out of selfless love. Although its quite irritating, I can understand her doing that out of love.
But if she's being misled/lied upon then thats a big NO NO for me. I hope Neil keeps her in the loop. She deserves atleast that much after all that she has done for him.

Lets see how it spans out. I hope she is kept in the loop as that would be in conjunction with Neil's character.

It was beautifully written Supriya, hence my suggestion of posting it
I feel there is not only one way of viewing things, if we want to understand, then we should first remove the bias, think as human beings from a psychological point of view, not judge others by our set of values, or expect them to behave the way we will, even when it comes to us we behave at times differently in similar situations, I feel we should accept the difference, accept that we can never know the other 100%, we might at max try to empathise with them but we can never pretend that we really feel exactly their pain, or feel exactly what they feel, or experience exactly what they experienced!

I am personally against judging people, and when the judgement is based on incomplete facts then it's bound to be unfair or at least the risk of it being unfair is high.

About AvNeil, I feel till date, their relationship has set an example at many levels and it's still doing it and though I don't know what will happen in the future but I'm sure it will get only stronger and more beautiful. Neil stood by her and brought her his unconditional love and support even before knowing she has feelings for him, he never asked her for anything in return, he fought her case like his, I still remember when he had tears in his eyes the day she was going to kill Dayavanti Mehta, he told her "tum khoni nahin hoon" and saved her from a dark fate. His past is different but it's his past, he helped her to overcome hers and she is helping him overcome his guilt, they accepted each other the way they are and that's the real and unconditional love.

While I agree to everything you said, I have to put my two cents for Neil giving Juhi's child his name.
If it is truly what he wants and Avni wants, then it is their choice, their mutual decision.
But my point is.. why does he have to give that child his name?

Does a mother have no role to play in her child's life? Does she not have the rights on her child? Why does a child need a father's name ?
I know of many single mothers who are brilliant at their parenting skills and work too, and have no qualms letting their kids grow up taking their last name as their surname.

So honestly it will be moot for me to see Neil giving Juhi's child his name (if it is not his child) just to keep up with the term Naamkaran'
Juhi is a mature adult who can certainly take care of her kid on her own and give it her name.

Everything else, I totally second you.
It is good to see Avni doing so much to help the man who mended her, have his own closure.
It only strengthens their own bond together. 😊

totally agree. especially since the very first promo (pre leap) of naamkarann was all about this. Why does a woman need her fathers or husbands name after her? I still remember that promo and was attracted to that thought.

The USP of NK is a strong ML and a strong FL. Indian shows are known to compromise characters for any stupid twist. I love Avneil chemistry, love to see them romance but above all I love their honesty towards one another and how they work together as a team. At no stage do I want that compromised for any kind of twist.

I have seen a strong ML after a long time, a ML who has an actual job and who is not a mute spectator to what the FL does, who respects his woman for who she is and who is THANKFULLY not an angry young man! He is an equal partner, supporter and I have a lot of respect for the character. I don't want Neil to fall from grace in any which way. Even if he is the girl's father (which I think he isn't), Avni needs to know. She must be taken into confidence at every stage.

If they decide to adopt the baby girl, that's also fine provided both Avni and Neil decide it, not just one of them.

I have a lot of respect for Mahesh Bhatt as a director so I do hope he/his team will keep the USP of the show alive and not compromise it.

Juhi's presence is anyways going to cause a lot of chaos in AvNeil's life eEven if she is positive, esp with the family...

If the girl is indeed a rape child, CVs can show how Avneil help Juhi n her girl start a fresh life. AvNeil do not have to adopt the baby. They can show how Juhi learns to live independently and raise her daughter without a father. A child needs both parents but if circumstances are otherwise, a mother can surely raise a child alone.

My main issue is with the actress!! I just don't relate to her at all.
