Author's POV
In evening(after kareena and maddy have come here, shweta and bebe have accepted avni, and everything is fine)
Neel comes to the khanna mansion after having a busy day at the police station; he parks his car and goes inside. Before entering in the mansion his phone rings and he sees the caller ID as neela ma.
Neel picks up the call and says "Hey neela ma, how are you?
Neel says "I am not fine
"The reason is none other than your tubelight daughter avni, everyone can see how I feel about her except her.
"Yeah you are right, I have to tell her myself else even if I wait for eternity she will keep her feeling to herself only.
"I wish that it will come true soon.
"Thank you
"No ma I cant come actually I am very busy with a new case.
"Yeah will try, now I will talk to you later
"Bye
He hangs up the phone and he continues to walk, and starts to go towards his room. Before leaving the hall, he sees his mom,aunt, bebe, sister and wife talking with each other very happily.
While going up stairs, he shouts "avni, please come and give me the rpc file, then he vanishes inside the room. { Author's note: rpc is raghu pandit case}
Avni thinks that now its a good excuse to get out of this discussion easily. They are actually talking about their first kisses, how it happened, when, and what they felt. She doesn't have anything to share, and was feeling nervous, and thinking what should she share. She has thought that she would fabricate a story in front of them, and the story would be how she dreams her first kiss to be with neel. It was avni's turn but neel called her unknowingly. She says "I will just come and she runs towards her room without listening to anyone. And they continue their talks without her.
She comes inside the room and sees neel sitting on the couch and reading some files, she goes towards the cupboard and gets the file neel is asking for. She gives him the file and goes to the bed and sits there and starts to play with her phone.
Neel puts the file on table and asks "you are not going back?
Avni asks "you want me to go, you don't like me sitting here
Neel says "its nothing like that, actually you all were having a nice happy chit chat session, so I am wondering why you are sitting here and missing it
Avni looks up from her phone and says "Neel I don't wanna go downstairs I wanna stay here
Neel gets confused but thinks to tease avni so he asks in a seductive voice "What happened avni why do you wanna stay here?
Avni gets conscious and realises that neel is getting naughty and says "Its nothing like that
Neel tries to act innocent but says in seductive voice "Like what?
Avni blushes and says "Like that, what's going on in your mind
Neel gets up and says "I never knew my wifey is a vampire
Avni gets confused and asks "What a vampire?
Neel laughs lightly and says "Yeah like the mind reader one, Edward in twilight
Avni says "Okay, but I am not a vampire, I just guessed
Neel again gets in teasing mode and says "So tell me what you guessed
Avni acts like a kid and says "No I wont
Neel says "Please
Avni says "no
Neel says "Ok fine, but why don't you want to go down
Avni blushes hard and says "Actually they are talking about and pauses
Neel asks "About
Avni blushes more, in a colour crimson red and says while staring the floor "Their kisses
This blushes doesn't go unnoticed by neel and he causally asks "So whats the problem
Avni looks in his eyes and says "The problem is that
Neel messes with her and says "That you have got so many kisses so which one to tell
Avni gets bewildered and says "So many?
Neel laughs and says "Yeah, now don't tell me that neela ma never kissed you or
Avni cuts him and says "No no, not that kiss
Neel acts innocently and says "Then?"
Avni says "The first kiss
Neel feels bad but maintains his normal voice and says "Okay, now I got it, that you are feeling shy to share about your first kiss that your boyfriend took
Avni squealed "Neel
Neel feels sad and says "You don't wanna share about it I
Avni cuts him and says "Neel listen
Neel says "What
Avni whispers "I never had a boyfriend
Neel asks in disbelieve "What, you never have one?
Avni shyly says "No
Neel gets happy knowing this.
Avni admits shyly "I have never been kissed by any guy
Neel again messes with her and says "Yeah who can dare to kiss a fighter girl, who has only one look on her face, try to come near me and I will kill you' and he laughs.
Avni says "Neel its not funny, and by the way I was the popular girl in the college, I used to get proposals every day, if you don't believe then ask neela ma
Neel gets serious and says "Of course I believe, you are so beautiful any one will fall for you and avni blushes hearing neel.
Neel says "So where was I?, yeah, so on a serious note, stop lying that you were never been kissed, I have kissed you on forehead many times.
Avni gets up and says "Neel, you say that I am a tubelight and here you are behaving like one.
Neel walks to her and says "I am not a tubelight wifey, I am just making you realise what your tubelightness do to me
Avni acts to be angry and says "Not fair
Neel holds her ears and says "Okay sorry, now forgive me please.
Avni sees neel and smile, she says "Okay
Avni blushes and says "neel I have never been kissed, I am not lying because I am talking about actual kiss
Neel thinks that finally his wifey is opening her heart to him, and telling him everything that is going on in her mind, no matter how shy she is feeling. Avni thinks how is she able to share everything with neel despite feeling so shy.
He gets in teasing mode and says "So my wifey is never been kissed, so whats the problem that no one ever kissed you or what will you share with bebe and all.
Avni says and makes a sad face "Both "
Neel winks and says "I can solve your problem
Neel comes closer to her and she whispers "Neel
Neel says "Quiet
- Aankhon ko teri aadat hai
Tu dikhe na toh inhe shikayat hai (x2) -
Both are looking in each others eyes intensely, they are lost in each other's eyes.
- Bin chhuye chhu liye hai
Tune mujhko diye hai
Pyar ke ye tarane jaaniya -
Neel without wasting time crashed his lips onto hers and kissed her passionately. Avni without wasting even a single second, reciprocates the kiss.
- Yeh jo ab ho raha hai
Kuch ajab ho raha hai
Kya yahi hai pyaar ka hai ehsaas
Sau aasmaano ko aur do jahano ko
Chhod ke aayi tere paas (x2) -
It is her first kiss, her first kiss is taken by none other than HER neel, she is on cloud nine, she is jumping inside, she is overwhelmed with joy that her dream has come true, that she doesn't have to fabricate a story and wish for it to come true. That her kiss for just like a fairytale kiss, that their story is a fairytale one. That her world is full of fantasies. Both are on cloud nine. Neel thinks that in the spark of moment they did what they wanted to do since so long. He is very happy that their first kiss is taken by their lover, also that avni loves him back. His emotions are overflowing.
Neel breaks the kiss and pants. Both are heavily breathing. He sees her and gets lost in her orbs and she too gets lost in his.
- Jaane kya hone laga
Mujhko nahi hai khabar
Kyu neend se door ye
Jaani laggi hai nazar -
In the spur of moment avni confesses her feelings. She finally speaks out her heart and makes herself crystal clear to neel. Neel also does the same.

Inhe jaane na dena jaaniya -
Neel messes with her and says "I have to wait so much to listen and to say those three words. Never knew that only kissing you would make you confess your feelings for me, else I would have kissed you on our first night. My both dreams would have come true that time. Poor me.
Avni says "neel and she lightly hits him on the chest and they smile.
- Yeh jo ab ho raha hai
Kuch ajab ho raha hai
Kya yahi hai pyar ka hai ehsaas -
And then neel leans forward to capture her lips again but before capuring it they hear a voice.
- ko aur do jahano ko
Chhod ke aayi tere paas (x2) -
Its like someone is shouting while coming up from downstairs. It is none other than kareena. While she is walking up on the stairs, she shouts "bhai, bhabhi
Listening to her, they separates and avni rushes to the bookshelf and starts to search for the file. Meanwhile neel takes out his phone from his pocket and acts as if he is busy on it.
Suddenly the door opens, and kareena comes inside and finds them busy.
She asks "bhai cant you find your file on your own, we were having such a good time
Neel says "No, actually its important file and she has kept it, I couldn't find it
Kareena says "Bhai I know you were missing bhabhi and file missing is just a pretence
Neel says "Its nothing like this
Kareena smiles and says "Then you should have removed the lipstick stain from your lips before lying
Neel gets conscious and rubs his lips from the back of his hand and sees pink colour on his hand. He blushes.
Kareena laughs and says "Okay okay, you both continue, I will tell everyone that you both are busy
Avni is blushing too, she turns and says "Kareena its not like that, I am coming
Kareena says "No and she runs out of the room and locks the room from outside. Avni runs to the door and tries to open it.
Avni says in disbelieve "Its locked
Neel causally says "Yeah it looks like that
Avni makes a sad face and says "It all happened because of you, now everyone will tease me.
Neel says "What have a done.
Avni says and pouts "I will not talk to you.
Neel acts to be fed up from avni and says "God not fair, why did you give me so unromantic lover.
Avni gets angry and says "You call me unromantic? How dare you?
Neel pretends to be angry and says "So what should I call you, here we get a such good chance to do romance, have some lovey-dovey moments, get some private husband wife quality time and you are sitting here, pouting. And he turns other side.
Avni anger melts and she makes cute face and says "Sorry neel
Neel acts to be angry and says "No
Avni holds her ears and says "Please
Neel says "No
She thinks that only this can blow away his anger and she gives him a small peck on cheeks. He blushes and turns, then avni hugs him tightly and he hugs her back.
And then neel breaks the hug and leans forward to capture her lips again.
After kissing each other passionately, they both go in the balcony and sits on the swing. Avni puts her head on neel's shoulder and neel puts his head on avni's head and puts his hand around her waist. While his free hand is intertwined with her's.
They talked and talked about each other, What they feel, since when, how they felt on various close moments that they have shared previously and much more. They talked until someone came to disturb them in the pretence of dinner. For avneil it was pretence but not for the family.
