True,he is very emotional. But, I think he's very rational as well, especially compared to Avni. He's very logical. He knows how much Avni's wanted a family and how much she thinks of his family as the family she never had, so he's trying to manao his mom for her. He's probably thinking Avni will need all the emotional support she can get with Ali gone. And it won't be good if his mom is constantly mad at her. It might have to do with the comment that Avni made about his mother constantly trying to seperate her from him.

Just remember that Avni is his weakness but also his strength. I'm keeping that in my mind and I'm keeping my faith in the CVs...Hope they don't disappoint us.

I think the DNA test will change everything and Avni will learn Ali is alive, that is when Neil better keep an eye on her because she will go back to her robin hood avatar. Avni has already revealed her suspicions about everything connecting, she will end up at the Rang Mahal. I want to see Neil and Avni working together but knowing Avni's impulsive nature she may go there without Neil and that is when he will have to save all three.
