What I understand though the cliched bullshit in every second show is this - when the ex returns they expect to see this broken shell of a man/woman who waits for them. like don't we all love the idea that yes this relationship didn't work now, but one day we will meet again and we will be together forever. So they come back expecting to see some wooing and repentance but what happens is this - the woman/man has someone else in their life. They are happy, they are better, they are fiercely protective. Their relationship is probably better and healthier than their, the bond is stronger that they don't need the world but each other. We human automatically don't start self reflection. We get envious, we keep thinking why not us and that Kal ki ayi hui ladki. Is she even worth it? Can she even love him Better than I do? Is she worthy or them? They try to get back into the old role of a lover completely disregarding the fact that -time has passed -people have moved on-godssake he's not interested. Also we need to understand in their head it was never friendship. It's always love and they were always meant to be

Interesting points!

I also believe that what people usually fail to understand that which each passing relation whether it is good or bad, people tend to learn and grow. They tend to understand things better and hence, their other relationship also works out better because they have had learned from their previous relationship.

And this is also the case with people breaking up and coming back together (yes it has happened with my friends). They changed and now they question each other on why they are not the way they were before? And the answer is same! People changed! With each passing time, you are learning a new thing. You are maturing and hence you would start having different approach towards life that you didn't have before. And maybe that approach is making you a better person and is also keeping you happy.

And hence, the other person is not able to see why his/her ex has moved on and is having a better life. They tend to forget that change is constant and thats something they can never control. Their ego also questions why not me. Their ego blinds them to see the change.

Loved tonight's episode, Neil and Avni in his old place well it is now THEIR place. Neil couldn't help but be flirtatious and to an extent Avni knew what he was doing but didn't know why. Neela was laughing because she knew exactly what was happening but poor Avni, the bulb has yet to off in her head even after his indirect confession. Neil has given Avni ten days lets see what comes of it

Bebe I love her she tried to put sense into Shweta because she understands what Shweta is going through but it was of no use. Bebe was talking to a brick wall because Shweta has sunk to a new low meeting the woman who tried to kill her son, just wow! Talk about going beyond redemption

Amol, I had to laugh at his stupidity your grandmother was someone big but now she is a criminal just like anyone else. I loved Gura Maa shutting him up and then his plans backfiring when he thought he got his hands on the results. Amol's days are numbered.

Avni trying to make tea, OMG LOL!! In her defense she thought she was putting sugar so it is not like she doesn't know it was just a stubborn mistake on her part because she wouldn't listen to DD

I always felt that Bebe not accepting her had always bothered Shweta and so she is not even trying to accept Avni or even Rhea for that matter. She planned to torture Rhea had she gotten married to Neil.

Maybe Bebe's bitterness towards her changed her. Not that it gives her any right to screw her son's life but still...

Bebe doesn't treat her well even today. The way she kept criticizing her in front of Avni must have been very humiliating for Shweta. I imagine this is Bebe softened by old age. Initially she must have been a terror. And Shweta went through a lot. She lost her fiance just before marriage. She must have loved him. Prakash married her to save her from humiliation from what I gather. So it was a marriage of convince much like Avni and Neil. When Bebe did not accept her, she must have been really insecure. What if Prakash left her because she was not accepted by his mother? Even when they separated, she had bear Bebe's taunts for being a bad DIL.

On top of that, Avni married Neil by dhoka. So she must have felt her son's life is ruined. And then Bebe came along and accepted Avni real quickly. Praised Avni for being a better DIL. That must have been a blow. And the very fact Avni always stood for her against Bebe must have infuriated her. There's another way of looking at Avni's acchai. She could have been indicating that she is better and Shweta is weak and needs her support against her saas. We know Avni didn't mean it that way. She genuinely wanted to build a healthy relationship with Shweta but sadly she couldn't see it.

Shweta is evil and I am in no way supporting her but even she has side of her own.

Now she is so blinded by her hatred that she is ruining her son's happiness.

I had posted the same the on one of the other threads. She is beyond redemption now, but still.

I want to say something about Bebe. I know most will not agree. Some might even be very vocal about it.
I feel Bebe is more, I don't know how to put it, you know dangerous than Shweta. I know Shweta is manipulative and evil, someone who is constantly plotting against Avni but at least she is sure that she hates Avni.

Bebe on the other hand... Her responses are just so convenient. When she found Avni and Ali hugging each other on the day of pagphera, she very quickly jumped to conclusions that Avni was, in her own words, 'gul khilawing' right under Shweta's nose. She thought Avni was being unfaithful and she accused Avni, albeit indirectly.

Next when Avni and Neil both returned late from pagphera, she very conveniently accused Avni for not following rituals but said nothing to her beloved Tillu. When she found out that Avni was not Shweta's choice, Avni had to give a test to prove that she is worthy of Neil. Even though she later said that she is not orthodox that she would starve someone, Avni had to bath in ice cold water, bear the humiliation of perhaps not being worthy of her precious Tillu, stay hungry and thirsty the whole day. And despite all of that, when Shweta accused Avni of eating and drinking cold drink, Bebe was quick to accept and accuse Avni. When the confusion got cleared, she again very conveniently blamed Shweta for all the mess. But the fact was that she was guilty of believing Shweta and unjustly accusing Avni.

Even when Shweta and Rhea told her that Avni and Neil don't have a normal husband wife relationship, even she was peeping in their room. But again Shweta was blamed for misleading her. Prakash shouted at Shweta for peeping in a married couples bedroom, but no-one said anything to Bebe. Even she peeped in her married grand son's bedroom to check whether he was sleeping with his wife or no. YUCK!!

Same happened when Avni and Ali were found in a compromising position. Even she accused Avni of being characterless.

And now this drama. The only redeeming factor is that she has the guts to accept her mistakes.

I think I've ignored Shweta enough but I'm going to say something about her today. How can she call herself a mother? She's so desperate at this point that she refuses to listen to Bebe, who was trying to talk some sense into her, and turns to a killer? Is she really that thick?! And the new spoiler pictures suggest that she will be working with Rhea again. How is she so obtuse?! Like Mandy mentioned in her episode analysis in the main forum, Shweta is going to lose Neil for good and this time, she will have to seek forgiveness from both of them. What Avni said will come into play here - she's scared that if she doesn't try to mend her relationship with Shweta, Neil might think that she's trying to keep him away from his mother. On the contrary, Neil would probably give Shweta a harsh reality check - that despite everything Shweta has ever done, this is how she treats Avni, and that will be the final straw. It's upsetting to see how stubborn Shweta is that she has thrown caution to the wind. Does she not realise that Neil might be HARMED in the process? So done with her.

My babies though! <3 I've been reading comments regarding Aditi's acting in the romantic scenes. People think that she's awkward and uncomfortable. I beg to differ, again. I think BOTH Zain and Aditi were on point in the romantic scenes yesterday. Neil was flirty af and Avni was confused. She herself hasn't properly realized her own feelings, let alone Neil's. When they were living with the rest of the family, Neil didn't get the chance to explicitly show what he felt, one because he wasn't too sure of Avni's feelings and two because there were people around, all the time. Here, in the absence of the rest of the family and in the confines of a tiny studio, Neil's actions have become bolder and understandably so. Unlike his "tubelight wifey", he very well knows that Avni has feelings for him too. It's just a matter of time. Avni on the other hand is completely taken aback by this new and improved Neil. The liver transplant has had some drastic impact on Neil's hormonal levels. :P She still thinks she's not worthy of him so it's obvious that even though Neil's actions basically scream that he loves her, she would not understand it. And even if she does, she will deny it. Neil's questions and the 10-day challenge is definitely going to get her to start thinking and I cannot wait to see how Neil decides to seduce his wifey into admitting that she's hopelessly in love with him. The bed sequence is a perfect example of how Avni is slowly going to realise what she feels - from being confused when Neil covers her with the duvet to adoring her hubby as he turns around to sleep. Avni did not have to confront her feelings for him all this while. When he was unconscious, she poured out her heart to him but she doesn't want to even think about those two days anymore. Now that she's in such close proximity to him, she has no choice but to think about what she feels. And our darling super cop is not making things any easier for her. ;)

"Tum bhi mujhse pyaar karti ho, bohot pyaar, lekin kahogi nahin. Mere paas aana chahti ho. Lekin main tumhari tarah nahin hoon. Main toh reh hi nahin sakta, yeh kahein bina ki mujhe tumse ishq hain." - Feels! This is so Neil right now.

Eh humnawa mujhe apna bana le
Sukhi padi dil ki iss zameen ko bheega de
Hoon akela zara haath badha de
Sukhi padi dil ki iss zameen ko bheega de

"Pyaar karti hoon usse, bohot. Pyaar karna nahin jaanti, pyaar seekha sakte ho." - When Avni realises and says this, RIP fandom.

Ho sake toh thoda pyaar jaate de
Sukhi padi dil ki iss zameen ko bheega de
Dil ka soona banjar mehka de
Sukhi padi dil ki iss zameen ko bheega de

This is sooo apt Ri! Thank you! ❤️

- I wholeheartedly agree with you. I feel Aditi is spot on!! When it comes to subtle acting, she's perfect... as you rightly said, Avni has not reached the phase where Neil has reached. She's confused and fluttered and is trying to understand Neil and his ways: that's why the convo with Neela: and Aditi portrayed it perfectly. even I felt a little irritated at Avni when she withdrew hands as Neil's fingers touched hers. But I guess Neil and us both have to patiently wait for the ice to break 😛
there are couple instances where she was visibly affected and portrayed beautifully by Aditi- 1: after that night when she had nightmare and woke up to see Neil. Naj even had a gif for that!!! 2. Zip scene. She showed very subtly how Neil's bold avatar affected Avni!! 3. Her face in the latest olv- after Neil turned to the other side to sleep- speak volumes!!!Man, if that's not acting, what is ????
As for Zain, the love that Neil gets is his accomplishment. Of course the character is well written but to successfully portray that on screen so that all of us fall in love with him is nothing less that a feat!!! and to add to that he's so handsome that you can't take your eyes off him, even married people like me 😊 😳
