I am in two minds about how I feel with regard to last night's episode. I really enjoyed the scenes per say, but I was hoping there would be some follow up on Neil realising that Rhea was plotting against Avni. I also did not like the fact that Neil seemed perfectly normal around Bebe. I thought he would be slightly more standoffish and angry around her. :/ They also need to reduce DVM and Guru Ma's screen time. It is annoying, over-the-top, unrealistic and pathetically executed.

On to the bits I really liked. I love DD, much like what most of you have already mentioned. The entire police station scene was adorable and Zain's response to Jahaan's actions was impeccable! It was the right amount of funny, without getting too unrealistic. I am also enjoying the fact that Avni is trying to make up to Neil. At this point I am not sure if she enjoys Neil's angst by constantly triggering him with the "E" word. 😆 I mean come on, she cannot possibly be that oblivious to the sort of reaction Neil has to the "E" word. I especially loved the last bit of the cafe scene. Neil being affected by Avni's tears has to be one of the major themes in this show. Be it the earlier teardrop scenes or yesterday's subtle yet profound scene, where his demeanour changes completely when he sees tears in Avni's eyes. These two have my heart, honestly.

I concur with everyone who is asking for a change in editors. It is a pity that the team is being let down by poor editing.

I didn't like Neil behaving normal with Bebe. May be it is because Neil himself was not present when Sweta and Bebe humiliated Avni and her parents, so he is not aware that Bebe is as guilty as Sweta infact more. They should have shown what Neela actually told Neil. I am not getting good vibes here. I feel they are treating the track as how Neil's family will accept a nazayaz ladki Avni as their bahu and not how Avni will forgive her in laws for insulting her and her parents. A girl's self respect is always compromised in hindi soaps.

@Bold: I totally agree! Most of the actors now are method actors, which is why I often feel a sense a disconnect when watching those shows. They do as told but only a few know how to personalise that scene, without changing any part of the director/writer's vision. Zain and Aditi have that ability. They are not the best actors out there, but their growth has been impeccable. Even in the scenes where their acting is slightly lacklustre, their spunk makes up for it. It is hard to find a single lead with that ability and we have been blessed with two leads who have that talent, so I couldn't be more thankful. I do think off-screen camaraderie translates to on-screen chemistry. Maybe the off-screen angst fuels the on-screen sexual tension. 😆

@Italics: HAHAHA, that is inevitable. I don't recall seeing any recent onscreen couple who was not shipped offscreen. The Janmashtami off-screen byte from yesterday, in particular, has gotten many fans really excited! 😆

@Bold- which off screen if this? Have you got a link?

Hi5 Anu on Neil seeing Avni's tears, I was just making GIFs of the same and then I saw your comment about the same.

I noticed he was avoiding to look her in the eyes because he knew he would get affected, actually his frustration increased when he saw tears in her eyes, it's something he can't stand as well!!! poor thing looked miserable, trying hard to pacify him, she just can't stand him being upset with her, she can't stand it, Farak padta hai yaar !!!

How can he resist her puppy face! By God look at her expressions, body language, the kind of looks she is giving him, she looked so innocent, so bechari!!

OMG the GIFs, thank you Naj! That was the exact moment I had in mind! Word to what you said, he is looking everywhere else because he knows he cannot stand to see her in pain. Add her puppy-dog expression to that, Neil is a goner. A part of me wonders if this is a tactic Avni would employ in the future to get Neil to bend. 😆 But that is for later when these two idiots finally find the courage and brains to confess. Did they edit out the moment in the second GIF though?

Also, as much as I love Neil for his patience, I hope he channels his inner ASR the next time Avni utters the "E" word and be like - "Screw ehsaan. Farak padhta hai God dammit because I love you." We could deal with minor out-of-character behaviour. 😆

@Euphoria

The moment in the second GIF wasn't shown in the episode, they didn't show when she removed her hands from his chest.

They take a lot of takes for the same scene so you never know which version they pick up, but they also edit from the middle of the same version causing discontinuity at times. Anyways the scene was good despite everything, editing wasn't that bad. I have now the habit of keeping OLVs to complete the picture 😆

About Neil's stand towards his Bebe, I feel he doesn't know what she exactly said, he must have imagined that as usual his mom was the one to insult with those hurtful words. He asked them whose harkate are these and tried to find the truth and the person plotting against his wife. I agree we would have loved seeing a scene where he scolds bebe and shweta both, yet don't forget Bebe heard everything so maybe Cvs didn't deem it necessary to include another scene where he scolds Bebe, this time he was more focused on finding the person behind the conspiracy, alas that in yesterday's episode they didn't show him facing Rhea!

I think he will get a clear picture about Bebe's stand tomorrow when she will refuse giving her blessings to Avni and we will have that emotional scene with bebe. Before I jump to any conclusions I will watch today's episode first. I trust Neil, whatever he does he has a reason behind it, he is not the kind who would shy off telling off anyone even if it's Bebe

The fear of falling in love, and then losing her love is still sitting heavily on her mind, and I don't blame her for this.

THIS! We think alike, made a similar post in the highlights thread.

I can't deny there is a part of me that wants the scene to play out like that too. I want the confession to happen during an intense confrontation.

Poor writing on the part of the CVs, had DM escaped and stayed out of jail it would have made more sense but they had her back in so how does that work? I would have preferred had they not shown her making a break for it last time, it would have looked more realistic having Amol do her dirty work then she breaks out and tries to escape with him. Sadly logic is not being applied here. I can only hope her track is coming to an end, let this be her final attempt at revenge and fail.
