Last week review

Lemme start from the beginning of what I missed.

That police station scene, although well executed, i thought Neil and Avni's reaction to the foods were a bit overboard, personally. But CVs surprised me with the execution of the scene once again. Having seen the OLV before my exams started, I had expected that Neil will imagine Avni saying she loved Ali, but I had thought the scene afterward would have been Neil wanting to take a self-sacrificing root. Neil rather, rebuked himself and realised that Avni would not be sitting in front of him, trying to form a plan to impress his mother if she felt trapped in the marriage with him.

Second, the dinner table scene was too cute! They were perfectly in tune with each other's thoughts. Other than their romantic feelings for each other. Which I understand completely, no matter how aware you are of the world, when its happening it to you, you don't know if someone likes you romantically or not. I loved all the small insults they threw at each other.

I loved all of Neil's nonchalant act so he could see Avni try to "manao-ify" him.

Then Avni's sholay act was just superb. Hats off to Aditi for her performance, the dramabaazi coupled with the confusion and adherence of Bebe's instructions was just peerfecttt in my opinion. Neil, and his bebe really love re-enacting iconic bollywood scenes. Neil always does DDLJ, and his bebe did Sholay.

Then Neil's wifey legitimately began acting like a wife in the honeymoon, when she realised Neil was here for work too. The pool scene was too perfect. I loved Neil's shirt (he's been wearing colour recently). I loved how their obvious flirting was visible to Ali and Rhea too. The world can see it. Also Neil feeding Avni soup-can every guy be like Neil?
