They probably just had a little tiff, that day/week. Because all the interiews before thisweek, they have been smiling and laughing together, maintaining an amicable work relationship. Like in the gift segment (first one) for example, they were teasing and looking at each others presents, Zain was even laughing that the chocolates were going to come to him even though they were gifted to Aditi. Even in the whisper challenge, which was slightly awkward, they obviously had a comfortable rapport with each and understood how the other one was going to react.
Since they have the most scenes together and the fact, they probably have to do rehearsals together as well as the actual shots, perhaps even talk to each other on acting cues, they spend alot of time together on set, in which you are bound to get ito small arguments. It's obvious that their mood was off from the start. This is nothing to worry about, and considering we have seen some scenes through the promos as well as OLVs where they were the same clothes as the one in ther interview, Zain and Aditi have remained professional enough to not let that affect their onscreen chemistry and performances at all, so hats off to them.
They don't need to get along, not every worker does with each other and this is an age old issue in Indian TV shows that many time the main lead doesn't get along with the other main lead. Fans shoudn't force them to take selfies together or dubsmashes together. That being said, in American shows, and British shows, I feel like even when the people don't get along, they don't let that come across in their interviews. I understand "Tellywood" actors don't undergo PR training (which until recently even Bollywood actors didn't get), but once hostility or coldness and awkwardness comes through the interviews, people are bound to talk about it. It's a part of showbiz. Articles will be written about it, journalists get their scoop. Fans will comment on it.
