It's not dream most probably...it's either after yes she will say she loves ali as like as friend or she'll think neil has still doubt hence she also will give negative answer...but here maybe question isn't doubt or not doubt! Question is neil's insecurity...neil is perfect husband n has fulfilled most of his responsibility as husband properly till now but at the end of the day he is also human being,a husband who loves his wife n wants security of their relationship from his wife that he isn't getting from her...he welly knows the deep friendship relationship between ali n avni,ali's love for avni,his waiting for avni since long time n ali's importance in avni's life though it's not that love angle but these all make neil continuously insecure n restless...above all avni also doesn't give any sign to him how she feels for him,what's she thinking about their relationship,how much neil's importance in her life ...for these confusing matters if neil becomes jealous,gets pain,increases doubt,insecurity then it won't look even implausible rather its completely normal because he truly loves avni n where there is pure love definitely jealousy,insecurity are also there. Moreover,neil is clear here that he doesn't want to keep her in their marriage bond if she herself isn't comfortable n that's clarification neil wants to know from her welly n when he will get nodding from her only then he will step forward with their marriage.
