I think Avni didn't returned to Khanna house with the intention of leaving. Otherwise night dress nahin nikaalti. Perhaps something happened before this scene due to which Neil is miffed with Avni and asks her to leave. Or may be Neil is afraid of hearing from Avni that she will leave and hence before she can say something he tells her to go
