Hey guys, I just wanted to make this post to give everyone a clear insight of TRPS. Please do check it out and give your views.
Last week TRPS were 3918 (1.78= 1.8). This week TRPS are 4288(1.95=1.9). TRPS have increased by really good margin. If we had 1.96, that would had rounded up to 2.0. This is fabulous growth considering that our competitors are Kumkum Bhagya and Shani. Although all slots are competitive, but 9 PM is most competitive slot yet we increased and have shown big growth in our viewership.
There is a lot of confusion with what these TRPS are for (These TRPS are from 21st May to 25th which means these TRPS are from LAST WEEK). Last week episodes were FILLERS.
Now what happened last week.
1. Haldi-Sangeet Function
2. Romantic dance in Sangeet Function
3. Mehendi Function (Riya accused Avni of mixing something and slapped her. Neil stopped her from doing so)
4. Haldi Function (Juhi appeared)
5. DNA reports truth
Although episodes were good, but they were FILLER mostly. Only the episode where Neil finds out that Ananya is Avni was major turn point. But nothing major happened in other episodes. Despite of filler episodes, TRPS increased by a really good margin. In addition, Star Plus did not air any Naamkarann promo for that week. The new promo came out on thursday and it was shown on tv from Friday only. So without promotion and filler episodes, TRPS increased.
AvNeil wedding promo (promotion) and AVNEIL Wedding episodes will be counted toward next week TRPS which will be from May 29th to June 2nd. What happened during these episodes.
1. AvNeil wedding
2. Bride exchange twist
3. Drama related to that
4. Neil-Avni major confrontation
5. Nanoo accusing Neeia
one more episode is still left.
These twists and promo will be counted for next week TRPS. Logically, we increased this week despite having filler episodes so we are likely to increase next week.
Other SP shows had major twist and turns like iSHQBAAZ-DBO had a mahasangram (TRPS increased but not by very big margin). The difference between NK and Ishqbaaz is little more than .1. This week we are 4th on SP (ahead of shows like CN, PARDES, SNS) and very close to rating of IB,YHM.
