Part 5- Neel's POV
This is set before Avni's party for Neel.
Basically set the next day after the last part.

There they sat, Avni and Neel, underneath the stars. Dealing with the aftermath of Ali's love confession to Avni. Ali had accepted the rejection, he understood where Avni stood in life but Ali had still asked Avni to stay away for a couple of days. Just so he could sort out his residual feelings.

Neel didn't know how to feel about the whole ordeal. On one hand, Ali had confessed his feelings to his childhood sweetheart that Ali had told him about for the past few years. On the otherhand, Ali's childhood crush was his wife. Fake wife, Neel corrected himself. They weren't bound to each other but at the same time...they were. He didn't know how to explain it.

What bothered him more than his own confusion was Avni's tears. So he had taken her out to his quiet place, despite having never bought anyone there ever before. He had found it when Juhi had left him. It was this secret garden, behind one small caf that had a small pond, small twilight lights on the hedges as well as a twilight-lighted trees. All around the garden adorned flowers; casablanca lilies and moon flowers. Flowers that only boomed at night time. On the right hand of garden, you had the full view of the moon, whilst the rest of the sides were covered by foliage. There was a single picnic blanket right in the middle of the garden, filled with cushions.

It had been a good half an hour since he had bought Avni here. She had sat down on the grass and just gazed up at the moon and the stars, and Neel wordlessly kept her company.

"Main kabhi pyar naahi kar sakti,Neel, Avni whispered to Neel.

Neel slightly jumped at the broken silent reverie.

"Umm...tum kya bol rahi hon Avni?

He looked down Avni through his eyelashes, and looked at the delicately vulnerable Avni on his shoulder. He wanted to reach down and wipe the tears that were building up in her eyes, but he didn't know if he should.

"Neel maine meri maa ka dil toot te dekha hain. Maine uske saapnon ko, aur uske bhaarosan ko toot te dekha hain. Pyar dard he, pyar bas ek dhoka he, Avni whispered in a harsher tone, finally letting some of the tears cascade down her cheeks.
