What did neil mean by "the ali option is also gone. Now how do i get ananya to spill the truth"...What was neil thinking or planning on doing. He kept trying to get ali to admit if he had any feelings or interest in ananya, and when ali flat out denied, neil said this dialogue. I'm so confused on what he was planning.

Neil doesn't know why Ali is showing interest in Ananaya? (i.e Ali's is suspicious about Annaya is Avni) but somewhere he noticed that Ali is interested and wanted to capitalise this opportunity to get close to Ananya . because Neil is findings reason/ways to get close Ananaya in the name of her mystery / case.

He is IPS officer he may definitely noticed how Avni was ignoring Ali and how's he interested in her.

So he must be thinking about possibility to get Ananya's truth with the help of him as if Ali something knows about her he may tell him!

And if Ali would tell him that he has a doubt on her being Ananya he thinks she's Avni. So Neil will easily get into this case and will find out soon the truth of Avni!

So maybe neil was hoping ali would get close to ananya and find info on her for him? On one side, daya has started suspecting ananya and told diksha to find out everything about her as she thinks there is something up with ananya but she can't out her finger on it, and on the otherside we have neil, who is hell bent on finding out about ananya. I'm getting scared for avni now.
