If neil also gets to know it's avni then won't he go back for ali as he always knows that ali loves avni? Then how will avneil love story be stepped forward?

Oh yeah! That's so true. Neil knows about ali's love for avni, so then he for sure wouldn't leave riya for avni/ananya.
