Today's episode and subsequent episodes are really making me confused about where neil's heart is. Even today, before going for the engagement, neil gets out a box and looks at the ring which he tried on avni's finger and thought about her. On one hand he says to his mother that he doesn't know whether he will be able to forget her (as in his dead girlfriend) but won't let his past effect his present, but on the other hand he keeps thinking about avni at odd times for seemingly no reason. Has this occurred to nobody else?
Usually when the male characters think about the female lead like this, that too after only just meeting the girl, it's usually when they have fallen in love for the first time, and there is no involvement of a past dead girlfriend he is trying to get over. So how does neil constantly thinking about avni make any sens, that too when he also has a fiance in the mix who he willingly agreed to marry without pressure from his parents. It keeps giving the impression that neil and avni have some old connection with the way he can't stop thinking about her from just one meeting and then just a second meeting, but non of it is making sense. Please tell me i'm not the only one who has been noticing this and finding it completely strange too?
