Avni to disown Ashish in Star Plus' Naamkarann

The tear-jerker drama, Naamkarann on Star Plus, has been keeping us entertained via heart-rending emotional sequences.

Now, it is time to feel some more anguish as Avni (Arsheen Namdar) will stand up against her father Ashish (Viraf Patel).

"Daya was about to set her on fire. Ashish, however, saved her life and in the emotionally weak moment, she made him accede to marriage with Neela (Sayantani Ghosh), not Asha," said a source.

Thus, with Asha-Ashish's wedding getting postponed, Avni will decide to fix-up the matter.

Avni will reach Ashish's house and demand rendezvous. Daya will do her best to stop the two from meeting but Avni will finally manage to confront Ashish. The little girl will pull Ashish's hand and force him to come along when he will tell her that he doesn't want to go with her.

Shocked, aren't you?

Avni will be taken aback and will be stunned to hear her father's decision. She will decide to disown her father and tell him to never come back to them.

How will Asha react to these happenings? Will the family ever get together?

Asha will be on cloud 9 because all she wants is to be Ashish's mistress for life. She is not interested in marrying Ashish. It is Avni who wants her to get married - she does not want to be wife. Being a wife involves work in keeping the family together. Being a mistress will allow her to have Ashish at her beck and call during which he will do all he can for her and her family.

Asha will be on cloud 9 because all she wants is to be Ashish's mistress for life. She is not interested in marrying Ashish. It is Avni who wants her to get married - she does not want to be wife. Being a wife involves work in keeping the family together. Being a mistress will allow her to have Ashish at her beck and call during which he will do all he can for her and her family.

I find thi comment to be quite ignorant tbh with you... how can you say she is happy with being a mistress and calls him to be at her beck and call.. from what I watched so far i think Asha is a woman who is so blinded by love that is not willing to jeopardise his happiness for her own that is someone being selfless i think you need to understand the depth of this character before we call someone a mistress.. for me i am proud of avni if she disowns him because who needs a father that cannot stand up for himself.. in all honesty we live in a word where some guys are truly mama's boy and will do anything to keep them happy.. his mother is family unreasonable but what i want is women empowerment in terms of indian Tv series we are not door mat we are people with real feeling that can't be discarded as thrash and avni disowning ashish is the first step in taking back that controll from ashish's mother... they need to show the both ashish and his mother that they can live happily without their handouts...

After watching tonights episode i can officially says that ashish is a spineless gut, and i think avin and asha can really do a lot better with him in the scene... asha has been doing a wonderful job raising her daughter and impacting good wisdom she does need him when in actuall fact he is conflicted with his own feeling

i am not bashing... am only encouraging to be more understanding as opposed to saying that she is happy being a mistress.. there are some mistress that get better treatment that asha.

A comment or statement cannot be ignorant - only people can be ignorant. So, you are calling the person who wrote it 'ignorant'. If as you say you are sorry and want to apologize - change your remark about being 'ignorant'. In my opinion, sorry, peace and love are words - that need to be translated into action.

This show is an abomination. Ashish and his mother's relationship is disturbing to say the least. The best thing Avni can do for herself is to disown both her parents. They are both pitiful.

I really like the show is showing Avni's story and her fight to get her name and accept in the society. Avon is only a child but she is the strongest child character I ever have seen in any shows. She is inspiring.
