I honestly don't get the purpose of teasing the audience with AsHa's marriage and we know Daya will attempt suicide to stop it because AsHa can't happen .

This is an unnecessary track. The breaking point was Avni forsaking Ashish and him leaving his house because he can't hurt his mother.

Hmmm...Ashish has made many promises to Avni. He will ultimately break all of those, and begin a new life with Neela. The pain of his betrayal would probably play a huge role in moulding Avni's character 🤔 Maybe that is why they are showing this happy track... to make the audience understand/ experience the full extent of Avni's shock and anguish, highlight the destruction that will be caused eventually by his spinelessness, and to heighten the contrast with the subsequent years of pain and anger.
