As we all know Daya is going to arrange a engagement party for Neela and Ashish because Dev purush Hemant bhai wants her son .. he is dying and it's his last wish and this is Neela's wish too .. I know he had helped her a lot when she came to that city with her sons ..they slept on the road and didn't have anything ..in that difficult time he was like send by god who must have done some fevers so now they are living in high class ..
she was in debt to Hemant bhai ..she couldn't say no to him then when he asked but now she knows the truth ...but lying to that dying Dev Purush is right ? cheating his daughter who is innocent ? 😲 how will Neela feel once she knows the truth ..?not only Ashish but his mum lied too ..It's shocking .. ..she was rich and educated girl she would have find someone better than Asish..
It's not how you pay his debt Daya ..Whatever Ashish did was so wrong but mother has to correct it ..
Any thoughts ?

I do not think Daya is arm twisting Ashish to get married to Neela.

Instead I think she is shifting to Ashish the burden of informing the truth of IshA-Avni relationship to Hemant Bhai and Neela. She is giving him the opportunity to choose Neela or Asha. She is not forcing either on him - she is just informing him of her predictment.

Ashish got her into the jam - so it up to him to get her out of it. Ashish was present when Daya accepted Hemant Bhai's proposal of Neela's rishta. He did not declare his relationship with Asha-Avni then or the night before when she asked him the reason for visiting her in her room after a period of 3 days. So, the onus of revealing the truth is rightfully his not hers.

Similarly Neela gave Ashish more than 2 opportunities to spill out the truth and reject her rishta. Ashish lied to her as well. Daya knows that if Ashish wanted to inform Neela - all he had to do was tell her verbally or send her an email.

In short, Daya has left Ashish to make the choice. He is an adult - he knows what is right and wrong. He knows the consequences of his actions. Now that he is the father of a 10 year old kid, it is time for him to be wise and make the right decision for him and all.

Ashish and Asha they are selfish to core no doubt about that ..less say is better ..
but Daya how come she is giving him choice ? she said on the phone she will accept Asha and avni but on the day of his arrival she is secretly planning his engagement with Neela ..he will be in a impression that he is marrying/engaging with Asha ...he couldn't even say that to his family or mother how can he will say in front of all the guest ..
I am not justifying anything Ashish did ..why he didn't tell his mum or if he couldn't say anything to his mother he should have told neela and together find a solution ..but now Daya knows so why she is doing the same mistake keeping it secrete ? neela will suffer too once she knows the truth ..

She is giving him the choice because it is his secret and it is he who has to reveal it. If he reveals his secret and declares that he wants to stay with Asha-Avni she will support him, just as she told him over the phone.

If he decides not to reveal it and marry Neela then too Daya will support him.

She is not secretly planning his engagement - she announced it to her younger son. So it is a public event. She did not inform Ashish because he has to learn to face situations not run away and do his own thing in stealth.

Agree when Ashish can be Selfish and spineless even to say his mum all ten years. Why should his mum who has promised someone else about marriage be not selfish. Its Ashish who has to decide whom he should be with and declare as his wife to society.
Whether he has to break his engagement with neela that his mum arranged or accept Asha in the society.. its his call.
He cant be any more spineless. He is father now dammit. Not a kid who can be chalta hai.

Agree it's Ashish's duty to tell everyone about his secret life. But after this announcement of engagement I don't think she has given him any liberty to accept Asha and avni. She has very well realized how coward her son is to accept the truth in front of all. If she really wanted to stop this marriage she would have asked Ashish to tell Neela in alone.

In my opinion, she wants him to come out in the open and confess. If he had informed her earlier (that is, before her conversation with Hemant Bhai) then it would have been her duty to inform Hemant Bhai and Neela of his marital state and decline the rishta.

But Ashish chose to reveal his truth after her commitment to Hemant Bhai and Neela. And Ashish encouraged Neela too into believing that he was willing for her rishta - which in turn has made Hemant Bhai more desirous of this rishta. So now it is up to Ashish to reveal his relationship with Asha to all concerned parties and take a decision regarding whom he wants as a life partner.

The minute Dayaben became aware of Ashish's relationship with Asha - she has taken steps to ensure that this matter come to a show down with Ashish deciding one way or another. No more double life for Ashish. Dayaben is not interested in pulling wool over Hemant Bhai and Neela's eyes. She wants Ashish to take a stand and reveal his secret and declare his marriage to Asha publicly. Or choose to wed Neela and forgo Asha and Avni publicly.

Recollect what Ashish had written in his email - he and Asha are happy to live in stealth but he wants to come out in the open because Avni is asking him tough questions. No where did he mention that he is apologetic for the situation with Hemant Bhai - nor did he ask his mother to help him convey the truth to Neela and Hemant Bhai. So, Dayaben was cornered into a situation where she needed to find a solution that would force him to come out and state the truth to Hemant Bhai and Neela.

That's exactly my point is...

If Ashish had that courage then he would not have waited this long anyway ..still they were continued it ..only now after Avni's demand he told his mom ... Now Daya can take do whatever to her selfish son but why an innocent girl has to suffer ..you can't respect some one's wish if that is going to hurt more ..won't they say OK Asish didn't say coz he was coward but Daya Ben why didn't you ?

I wonder how come Ketan got married before Asish 😕😲

Daya as a mother should be straightforward and tell the truth to them. It will be a test of their relationship and understanding. Because she was betrayed too.😭

exactly ..by telling them she will save them than keeping it secret it will be more heart ache when truth will come out 😲
