Adaa Khan is one of the more soft spoken and sweet TV actresses of the day. I know her since many years and whenever she meets me she always speaks politely. We have not heard other actors bitch about her and neither does she give journos gossip about her rivals (not fair dear). She has gone up the success ladder slowly but steadily. It is no mean task to be among the cast of the most rocking show of the day Naagin. Her combination with Mouni Roy and Arjun Bijlani really stands out. We are sure she must be quite busy right working in the climax of season 1 of this Colors snake show. Ekta will surely give her most challenging scenes for she knows this gal is quite capable of pulling of any challenge.
One of the most important facet of any actor worth his/her salt is versatility, sadly most TV actors don't fit this bill. Adaa is among the talented few who plays different roles, with equal elan and ease. Like currently if on hand she is doing the above mytho drama on the other hand we see her lighter side in Comedy Nights Bachao as well. She is also gracious enough to thank Krishna Abhishek, Bharati Singh and other stand up greats to help better sharpen her wit.
Model Adaa began her journey with Sony's Palampur Express way back in 2010. She was first noticed in Star Plus Behenein. Adaa really came into her own with her negative avatar in Life OK Amrit Manthan. Producer Rajan Shahi was really impressed with work.
Amrit Mantan's exit saw a mild fall in her fortunes but Adaa being a brave and hard working gal did not lose hope and preferred to bid her time doing episodics in Yeh Hai Aashique, Savdhaan India and Crime Patrol etc. Lady luck again shined on Adaa, courtesy second title role in Piyaa Bastani. Unfortunately the show shutdown very quickly due weak channel GRP, Though her work was appreciated.
Apart from acting Adaa also has hosted The Great Indian Family Drama on Sab TV. The tide changed with Naagin and Bachao.
We would love to see Adaa on the big screen. But we don't think her strong family values will let her do certain kind of stuff on the big screen. Luckily today films are changing and you also have content based films which only require good acting.
Last but not the least we do hope Adaa again finds love. Her last relationship ended badly. We hope her knight in shining armour gives her all the happiness, she deserves.
It was quite sad to see Adaa being wrongly attacked by sections of the media during recent Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case. I had personally spoken to her and she was quite hurt. Adaa who herself lost her mother knows the meaning of death. And let's face it, she is already a known face who does not need to resort to cheap publicity stunts unlike others.
