Read my previous posts about Shivanya's mothers age. They never specified her age. She could have been 300 year old or 500 for that matter, so can Shesha's mother. And Shivanya couldn't smell Nevla either, she was not worried then or jealous. It's simply that she is young and not as experienced as Shesha. That is all. Ritik's 25th birthday was the issue, not Shivanya's. She will turn 25 and gain all the powers then, right now she is not as powerful as Shesha.
