Sequence of events:
1) Ritik promises to get Naagmani and hand it over to Yamini
2) Ritik gets Naagmani and then hands it over to Yamini
3) Sesha reveals that she heard Anky talking about selling the Naagmani.
So basically everyone knows that after Ritik takes the Naagmani, it can be touched freely - hence why the deal can be made. So ... why are Shivanya and Sesha not paying attention to that?
It was revealed before that the Naagmani and those that wear the mark and the Naagins are all closely related, so wouldn't it make sense (I'm trying to avoid using the word "sense" in an EK show, but come on this is just pathetic) for the Naagins to trick Ritik into TAKING the Naagmani and establishing it where it belongs?
In fact, isn't the entire plan for the Naagmani to GET MOVED to begin with? The Naagins can't touch it, but Ritik can. He has sort of "unlocked" it for world access, so now there isn't the NaagDevta protecting it. All the Naagins have to do is make an attempt to steal the Naagmani before the deal or just kill the foreigners who are buying it. Easy-peasy. Heck, Ritik is gullible, trick him.
At the end of the day, there is the small ray of hope that Ritik put 1 and 1 together and he, himself has the real Naagmani and he gave Yamini a fake one because Anky literally screwed things up by explaining why he couldn't go in there and why he couldn't touch the Naagmani. His love for his *fake* parents is strong and it should be as he has been brainwashed from childhood, but hopefully he would be able to realize that his parents were once the heirs too, so they should also have the mark - which Anky clearly explains that he doesn't. Likely-hood? Not very, but it's a good twist to be had.
P.S. Rajaji survives that drop as well ... damn ...
