Hi everyone,
So finally we have a Saturday episode that is engaging, otherwise it is usually dull while the Sunday episodes are better. After watching some scenes on Segments and On location videos, I don't feel like watching it in the episode. I skipped the pooja scene and rithik throwing the dagger at snake shivanya- basically the entire first part of the episode
A noteworthy moment in the episode was the brief glimpse of the girl in rithik's dream, it was the exact same scene. So was that a hint that the girl in rithik's dream was shivanya all along? Perhaps it was another hint at their connection? Maybe that dream was not as sinister as we presumed. It explains why Shesha was wearing shivanya's naagin outfit, she was most likely replicating that dream so rithik follows her.
So the infamous switch happened and so far, it isn't as bad as I thought. Rithik realized right away that something might be wrong and shesha was in full form with her one liners, their scenes were tastefully done and did not make me cringe. Shesha already so seems so frustrated and sick of human proximity, I hope it stays that way in the long run.
The bedroom scene was my favourite because we got to see rithik shirtless but I would have enjoyed it more if it was shivanya instead. Rithik is such a cutie, never leaves an opportunity to tease shivanya and I loved how he almost jumped and put his head on "shivanya's" lap. Sometimes he behaves like an overexcited puppy, and I think it is adorable.
Rithik is already getting flashes of a wounded shivanya. More than a connection, I think rithik is gifted with the third sight- the ability to see things that are beyond the human sight. He can see the past, present and perhaps the future too? He has some kind of powers that are surfacing after he turned 25, maybe that is what the villain gang are waiting for. The symbol on his back can be a sign of his true lineage or whatever his destiny may hold for him.
Coming back to Rithik and shivanya, yes their hearts are connected but there is something more. It is not only fate but something magical and spiritual. He gets flashes of her in pain even without knowing the truth so surely it is not merely the power of love but beyond destiny and human understanding. I think shivanya got it wrong, shivji chose rithik to return the naag mani to its rightful place not her. in the future they will team up together but right now, their connection was formed not only by the naagmani but their overwhelming love for each other. Shivji's blessings will sustain this connection and make them stronger.
Even shesha was surprised at how deeply connected rithik is to shivanya, I wonder what she plans to do about it.
Poor shivanya while writhing and screaming in pain, she still wished rithik a happy "three month anniversary" and applied sindoor on herself. It was bittersweet and I desperately wished they were together to celebrate this moment. In the future, can we see rithik putting sindoor on the real shivanya? Please?
rithik's past is one of the most fascinating aspect of the show and the audience will stay hooked as long as they focus on it and the main three players. Bringing in silly characters like icchadhari nevla to eat up screen space won't work in the long run. I hope writers remember this and tread carefully.
