But of course, that will never happen, and even if by some miracle they take those characters to another season/show/platform, there's something about being in the right time and place that adds to the magic of a jodi. That can never be recreated even with the same people and same characters.

That said, if Ekta and co. can write Veer once, they can presumably write him again, even as a different character. I agree that missing a jodi with good memories is preferable to watching that jodi being massacred...but SharBhi have created such magic together I feel we'd be so lucky to see them do it again, albeit in a different way. Who knows. Maybe because N5 is a finite show, we stand more chances of seeing SharBhi in something else - it's not as if they've been working together for years and years and are understandably tired of it or looking for pastures new.

I just feel like we haven't reached the potential of this jodi and the magic it can bring onscreen

I feel the same! That VaNi haven't been properly explored, not even half as much as they could be imo! I would love it if they could even create a web show with a Naagin5 but an alternative plotline as to how it could have gone otherwise. You know how Zee is doing the whole Qubool Hai 2 point 0 and Jamai Raja too? They could actually go down that route. While keeping the basic premise and character traits intact. Its like you said in another discussion, that we wish they could just lift these characters with all their small characteristics (calling 'sweetheart', etc) and create another well written story. This ...is just wishful thinking on our part though. The chances of such happening are next to none. šŸ˜”And you are so right, the magic of the first time is just different. Its kinda hard to recreate. But if it were to happen, yes, only Ekta and Co. should go ahead with it. Cause they have created and written Veer and I wouldn't trust anyone else to handle an ML like him or even VaNi.

We should just start a petition!

@Bold. You have given me so much hope by saying this, I tell you. I wish wish wish for this so hardly. Because yes, SharBhi are yet to display their potential. They just need to be in the right hands. The whole Lalit Mohan directing them is still stuck in my mind šŸ˜†. It would be such an ideal scenario. Pair them up with one of the writers right from this forum. BAM! Perfect Combo. And if SharBhi are in anything, so will I be.

Definetly their chemistry is intriguing thats what caught my interest to watch the show. What I love the most about the show is Veer's character how he is soo different from all the male lead in ITV as most promising male characters have been badly butchered by the CVs. I love how well his character is written his unconditional love for Bani, trust and him being sassy and sanky, love it all.

I need to thank all the creative team, Ekta and Sharad who brought life to Veer's character.

I mean it’s there with Mohit offscreen but it doesn’t appear like that onscreen especially at the start.

I still can’t believe a male lead like Veer exists on ITV he’s imperfectly perfect - given that it is predominantly a female oriented show and generally ITV is. Both SC and SM bought these characters to life. I honestly believe that nobody else could have done a better job of being Bani and Jai. Ekta you have some vision for sure šŸ‘

I hope some day we get a finite series of this aadhi naagin and her cheelu. Would be amazing like

a mini this is how it’s going but I would watch sharbi in any show and probably beat myself up if it’s

On ITV and the normal butchering occurs šŸ˜†

YESS. Chemistry gets elevated with comfort and SharBhi seem to share that and it shows. Otherwise, discomfort is very easily picked up onscreen. Also, the hug was everything!!

When it comes to Veer, you've described it with the perfect word - imperfectly perfect. Arshi once mentioned how ITV seems to confuse the Alpha ML with a Toxic, MCP ML. And I can't agree more. This is not the case here and I am so grateful. I wanted to add that some of Veer's actions pre-wedding cannot be condoned in real life, so that has to be sort of a disclaimer. But apart from that and especially after VaNi's wedding, he has been this completely ideal man. He wears his heart on a sleeve with Bani, trusts her, stands up for her, loves her and never fails to verbalize it. Neither does he find it 'weak' to do any of these for his ladylove... but he's still sanki and 'alpha' (if you will). He's no sweet, sanskaari, chocolate boy despite this either. They have done well maintaining that line. Every time I start talking about Veer.. I always go back to thinking how much I want a Veeranshu in my life.šŸ˜† Oh Bani, you lucky woman!

Happened to read something on KDB and I remembered how Karan Luthra was well etched 1000 divya varsh ago when KDB started too. He had all the traits of a non-toxic, supportive yet cool ML too but of course was then butchered. Thank goodness this isn't a long running show for our Cheelu to go that way.

Yes, a QH 2.0 or Jamai 2.0 - style revival could work I guess (Jamai 2.0 is nothing like the original though, as far as I know...I think they just capitalised on the actors' chemistry and show brand name, but that's fine too). I would love it if we could get an alternate N5 in a limited series web show, but like you say, seems unlikely šŸ˜’

Haha, I've given myself too much hope in saying this...I'm not sure it'll amount to anything, at least in the short term šŸ˜’ but who knows. These things are starting to happen now...more than shows, jodis are the ones being remembered and loved, and these are the real measure of fan engagement for the most part these days.
