I don't know why people doubt that Veer is a mastermind. I agree Veer is trusting Bani bit too much and he accepted Jai so soon, but it is just a rapid progression in their relationship and Veer-Jai part is sometimes cringe-worthy, sometimes a good watch... Also, the makers didn't have much time to show Vani scenes as the show is concentrating on Samudra Manthan concept. Thats why, their relation is progressing well. Other than that, Veer's character is poorly-written... In fact all the three characters are written poorly. Jai's one is the least poor. Bani is intermediate in between Jai and Veer
