Part 2 : Another bet

"Meera Please btao na tumhe Kya lagta h, akhir m tumhara ji-ja-ji hoon" Veer pouted

"Veer, mai Bata du but Bani accept kregi h ya nahi" She said calmly

"Wo kregi bilkul kregi.. tum bus mjhe btao Kya tumhe b lagta h Jo mjhe lagta h" he sat on the bed and asked

"Veer, Mai tumse kuch kehna chahti hu" She turned to look at him

"I love you mat bolna saali sahiba, mai shadi shuda hu" he said and started laughing

Meera stared at him in disbelief.

"Tum irritating to Sach m ho" she said

"Han to hu Mai, itta pyar krta hu tumhari ladli behen se wo nhi dikhta dono behno ko bus irritation dikhti h" he made a face

"Veer, Bani k Dil m kuch to h tumhare liye.. ya shayad bhot kuch.. wo bus keh nhi paati..khudse accept nhi kr pati" Meera sighed "these are few things that might irk her, I love her but I hope you win this bet" she smiled and told him what she's observed

"Ye to mjhe pata he tha but tumne Mera confidence or badha dia.. thank you so much.. or haan.. sorry.. Meera" he smiled

"Sorry, Mene Bani se shadi krne k ly tumhara istmaal Kia.. tum to mjhse bhot Jada better ladka deserve krti ho" He added

"It's okay veer, as long as you keep my sister happy and love her" She smiled back at him.

"Sweetheart, lag raha hu na Mai kamaaaal" Veer looked at her through the mirror

"Jee nahi, ye Kya pehen rakha h tumne, or hum kaha ja rahe h? Or ye konse friends h tumhare Jo achanak se aa gye" Bani huffed

"Arey arey, gharwali calm down" He said making her sit

"Ye mere college k friends h.. or Kya burai h party krne m.. or hum kahi nhi ja rahe h.. Mai ja Raha hu.. tumhara optional h.. if you don't want to go I won't force you to" he smiled at her

"What? Par abhi to tumhari us chamkili friend ne bola ki it's couples only entry, tum stag entry kese Kroge" Bani raised her brow

"Han to wo konsa mjhse marriage certificate mangenge, wese bhi, you know Saloni bhi akeli aayi h so I will make the entry with her, tum araam Karo" he said and started looking for something

"Bani wo mera strong Wala deo kaha rakha h?" He asked

"Ankhe fut gyi h Kya, samne dekho" she gritted her teeth

"Arey ye to Mera ordinary Wala h na, Saloni likes strong flavours" He pressed his lips to hold his laughter

"What?" Her eyes were wide open

"Han mjhe pta h tum ye sab mjhe jalane k ly kr rahe ho.. I don't care jo karna h Karo" she threw his deo towards him

"Arey nhi nhi jaaneman, usme to Abi bhot time h.. wapas aane k baad dekhenge.. tum pakka nhi chal rahi?" He asked

"Mjhe koi shauk nhi h" she made a face

"Okay bye, Mera intzaar mat krna" he said as he went out of the room

"Mjhe pata h tum kahi nhi jane wale, abhi wapas aoge 15 min m" Bani said to herself and smirked, too overconfident of his love for her.

She started folding the blankets and making the bed. She double cleaned the room, arranged the cupboard to get her mind diverted. She looked out of the window every second and towards the door every moment to see if her husband is back.

"Ek ghanta ho gya, kahi kuch ho to nahi gya Veer ko" She frowned when her phone beeped

Notification : Veeranshu Singhania uploaded a picture. It read. She tapped on the notification and opened the app to look at the picture. There he was in the middle surrounded by his friends, the girl, who she was introduced to as Saloni was holding onto his arm and leaning onto him, the background was shimmery and crowded, she realised he was in a pub.

"Haan ghus ja isme, pata nhi ye ladkio ko is veeranshu m dikhta Kya h" she mumbled

"Or ye veer yaha m tension le rahi hu or ye gulcharre uda Raha h" She gritted her teeth and tossed her phone on the bed.

"Bhabhi" Ponky knocked. Bani looked at him and asked what happened

"Aj dinner nhi milega Kya?" He asked

"Waha tumhara Bhai party kr Raha h tum log Kyu nhi gye uske sath? I thought sb gye honge" she said

"Wo bhaiya k special friends h.. Wo Saloni.. wo bhaiya ki ex girlfriend h na.. so isliye hum Kya kebab m haddi.." he stopped realising what he said

"Ex gf? Ye tum sab behuda ho Kya, chichore, ladkibaaz" she spat

"Bhabhi, apko Kya Fark padta h.. aap to" Ponky gulped

"Kya Mai to? Mjhe koi Fark nhi padta but ek tehzeeb tameez hoti h ya nahi" She said again unfolding the blanket and folding it back.

"Bhabhi sorry" he said scared

She looked at him and left the room to serve them dinner.

"Ye daal thodi jal.." Daksh started when Ponky pressed his hands

Bani glared at him.

"Khana.. bhot tasty h bhabhi" Ponky stammered.

"Kya hua?" Daksh whispered

"Yaha Dil jal Raha h tujhe dal ki padi h, Jo mil Raha h kha le" Ponky answered in low voice

"Ye smjhta Kya h khud ko, Veeranshu Singhania.. Mai btati hu ise , sabak sikhati hu" She said as she sat on the bed drinking water

She picked the phn and opened the picture he uploaded. "My bar" she read on the location tag.

"Rang m bhang dalne ka time aa chuka h Bani" she smiled to herself and picked up a gorgeous black dress to change.

"Excuse me, do you know where these guys are?" Bani went to the bar tender and showed him the picture after trying so hard to find them by herself

"Yes ma'am they were here, but I guess they checked in to their rooms upstairs" he said

"Oh, may I know their room no.?" She asked

"You can check on the reception ma'am" he smiled and she went on towards hotel side

"Excuse me, do you have a booking in the name of Veeranshu Singhania?" She asked at the reception

"Yes ma'am, Mr and Mrs Veeranshu Singhania, checked in an hour back" she showed her the entry

"What? What is there room no?" She asked angrily

"Sorry mam it's against our rules.." the receptionist said

"Rules ki bachi, I am Mrs Veeranshu Singhania, do you still want to teach me rules, also give me the master key miss" She glared her and the receptionist gulped as she gave her the keys to the room.

"Ye sab ye Kyu Kar raha h" Bani said to herself as she entered the lift

"He cannot cheat on me, I know" she calmed herself

"He is just teasing me" she gulped

"But is he in a room alone with her? I was not even here, is he.. actually..no no no" she took a deep breath standing in front of the door. She quietly used the master key to unlock it and went inside.

As soon as she entered she smelled something familiar, 'this room smells like their bedroom, like veer, this was the perfume he wore' her heart started pounding hard. She slowly walked when she felt something getting tangled in her heel. She looked down, it was a t shirt, not an ordinary one, it was his! She recognised it in first glance. She picked it up as her heart stopped for a second.

'this can't be true' she closed her eyes to remove the tears forming up, brimming up.

She looked at the bed in front of her, she looked at the sides, a golden wedge heeled footwear lying there, the one Saloni was wearing, a shimmery dress zipped open lying by the corner of the bed.

There was someone sleeping there, covered with blanket. She couldn't see who they were but looked at the leg outside the blanket. It was veer. She couldn't be wrong it was him. Her husband. Probably sleeping with.. she held her breath as she approached him.

"Veer" she took him name with an authority she just realised she had over him.

"Bani" veer looked out of the blanket. He was in his lowers. His chest bare.

"This was the love you talked about?" Her voice cracked "how dare you?" She took hold of the bed. She was too weak, she thought she would collapse.

"Bani, I.. no no.. you're misunderstanding" He looked at the floor and into her eyes

"Really?" She laughed and removed the blanket. There was no one else. She frowned

"See" veer got up and walked towards her

"Don't touch me, you cheat" She warned him and went towards the loo

"Wha nhi to yaha hogi" she went inside to check but no one was there

"To kaha chupa rakha h ise, ye mat bolna she wasn't here, ye sab dikh raha h mjhe" she glared as she pointed towards her clothes

"Mene kab kaha she wasn't here" veer calmly said

"Infact tumhare aane se just pehle yahi the wo" he sighed

"Fir Tum agai.. or tumhe to pata h na tum kitni special ho mere ly.. to Mene use keh dia ki mere or mere sweetheart k beech koi nahi aa skta wo chali Jaye yaha se" He said dramatically

"Kyu veer?" She looked at him, trying to not break down

"Bhul gai tum gharwali? Hmari start lagi the na? 24 ghante out, jealousy in, ab dekho Mana mat krna you're not jealous" he pouted and told her

"Tumne.. tumne sirf ye shart jeetne k ly ye sab kia?" She looked at him with disgust

"Haan..or dekho.." he started when she slapped him

"Tum itta kese gir skte ho? Mere pyar ka bharose ka fayda kese utha skte ho Veeranashu Singhania?" She slapped him again.

"Pyar? Bharosa? Tum mjhse pyar.." veer smiled and his eyes shone completely ignoring the slap he received

"Sharam aani chaiye tumhe, how could you sleep with someone Veeran.."

"Ayyee Bani.." veer screamed as he pinned her to the wall

"Bhot der se bole ja rhi ho..iska Matlab ye nhi ki sahi bol rahi ho.." he looked at her sternly

"Itta ghatiya ilzaam wo bhi mujh jese aashiq pe? Tch tch tch tch no bani, Mera Sona jagna uthna bethna sirf tumhare sath.. or koi nhi" he smiled at her

"Tumhe Kya lagta h.. tum bologe or m maan lungi..chodo mjhe" she said angrily trying to get out of his clutches

"Veer" Came a voice

"Hey, Saloni" veer moved his neck to look at her still holding his wife

"Actually I forgot my dress in hurry, you know I was drunk and thought this was my room and I changed here.." She said

"What do you mean? You didn't sleep with him? Tumhara koi chakkar nhi chal raha?" Bani asked stupidly

"What? Are you mad?" Saloni said offended.

"I have a boyfriend, god damn" she laughed

"But I can understand, anyone can be insecure if the husband is Veeranshu Singhania" she added as she picked up her clothes

"Excuse me? I am not insecure" she looked at her

"Oh that's why you're here at mid night when you clearly refused to join us in the evening" she mocked her. Bani was tongue tied. She didn't know what to say. She was caught off guard.

"Bye" saloni waved at them both and left

"Mai..Mai chalti hu" she said after a good 10 minutes of silence. She waited for him to say something but he didn't respond.

"Mene kha.. Mai ja rahi hu" she turned around to look at him, he was sitting on the sofa drinking wine.

"Shayd tumne notice nhi Kia.. but ye room Mr and Mrs Singhania ka h, Mrs Veeranshu Singhania" he traced the rim of the glass with his finger

"Veer Mai bus.. Mai to.. m ja rahi hu mjhe koi shauk nhi h yha rukne ka" She said

"Jao" he said as he took one more sip

"What?"

"Jana h to jao.. Jane wale ko kon rok skta h" he sighed.

"Mai sach m ja rahi hu" she said loudly as she moved towards the door. He didn't budge

"Mai ja rahi hu" she repeated stlll moving slowly

"Kachua ho kya? Abhi tak gayi nhi" He taunted

"Jao jao tum jaogi tabhi to koi or ayega" he smirked. She opened her mouth in shock.

"Excuse me Mr."

"Excused you Mrs."

"I hate you" she flared her nose

"Ilove you" he smiled

"I hate you hate you" she stomped her foot

"I love you love you" he grinned

" Hate hate hate"

"Love love love"

"Fine" she sighed and lifter her eyes slowly to look at his face "I hate to say this, but" she paused

"But? Seedhe seedhe bolo na" he asked impatient

"Bolungi to tedha he" she chuckled.

"I think Veeranashu, I have, maybe, lost the bet" she said a tinge of red reaching her cheeks as she accepted her love for him.
