It seems like i rewatch all the serials everytime

Ekta Kapoor's shows focus on love-hate stories because many people prefer to watch that kind of stories. She is a smart businesswoman, she knows what formulas can be applied to achieve success. However, I think she needs to think differently now. It is 2020 and a lot of options are available for people. Web series entered the race and some of them got so much appreciation from the viewers. So, the scripts, the dialogues, the stories and several other aspects of her shows definitely need to be improved.

It’s not just Ekta. Love hate stories work well universally. Case in point - The Vampire Diaries, 365 Days etc. Audience loves a push and pull romance like this everywhere and it’s a formula for quick success of a couple.

Contrasting feelings always brings fodder for thought and entertainment!

Especially, ekta kapoor only makes shows for Indian audience! Moreover, trp audience and most of the Indian auidience loves to watch the friction between the lead characters!

Indians are very rooted to Joint family system, family values ,family dynamics and marriage as a institution as such, so post-marriage problems and a girl's dynamic with her husband and in-laws is something people relate a lot!

Ekta actually made progressive shows like ajeeb dastaan hai yeh and pyar ko ho jaane do but it did not work. I'm totally with ekta as channels want trp's and at end of the day its all business. Wen ppl r not ready to accept the new concepts than why to waste time

I believe television will change, but it can only happen when the audience changes.

Talking about naagin then I'll say it is completely OTT Even after being an indian television show. So there's no doubt why it becomes suddenly trending even before it airs on television.

I don't know about other naagin seasons, but I do not find this season totally mainstream! Ofc. there would be 40-50% concepts which are repeated but then, at the crux of it, it seems different! And mainly the treatment of the show and characters. This would be the first ekta show am watching, where wind isn't blowing from closed rooms just to show a romantic environment!😆

The characters are less dramatic and less animated!😆 No one is slapping and screetching!😆 Most importantly, no sautans and sasuma planning against the bahu!😆

Here, In Naagin 5 everyone has a agenda, even gandhak!😆

Not just Ekta majority of itv shows are like this. Expect for Sony tv made some really good and progressive shows like Beyhadh, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 1 & 2, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai.... But other trp channel like SP, Colors and Zee shows always have the same kind of content and tracks running.

Naagin 5 love story isn't typical though like we usually see. The hate started off one sided. Usually we be seeing hate from both side but here the ML fell for the FL at first sight even though he's a grey shades character.

Love hate saga is in demand. Audience love to watch such stories. Audience mind is not changing that's why stories are not changing.

Anyways N5 have different concept Love hate saga is there but in different way. This is not typical EK soap. Its actually different.
