Is Bani playing a double game?

Ok so, this discussion I initiated in another thread, but since Bani is Adi Naagin, it deserves a separate thread devoted to discussion.

I was rewatching the jungle scene on Prayag pahadi where Bani was defending Jai before Veer. When I carefully watched it again, It felt Bani is deliberately defending Jai here like she is trying to make him believe that yes I believe you, you have got me.

But aisa bhi to ho sakta hai that Bani is playing a double game here. She did not initiate it before marriage, but definitely after Ponky's engagement.

Adi Naga and Adi Naagin ka gandh tab tak kisi ko nahi aata jab tak kisi masoom ki jaan na jaye. Bani understood that she did not kill Teer basis this logic. Matlab thoda sa bhi sahi, uske dimaag me ye baat bhi aa sakti hai that Jai ne kisi masoom ki jaan li ho?? It is a possibility right??

Usse lag sakta hai ki Jai ne anjaane me kisi innocent ki jaan li ho, and she starts investigating on her own regarding Teer's death, behind the scenes, and comes to know Jai's truth. Her reason to save Jai could also be because she wants to punish and avenge him herself.

See, Bani's behavior with Veer and family is but natural, because they are mortal enemies. She does not trust them, neither she cares for them, neither she is emotionally invested in them. So she does not need to clarify her stand there. But, I think she has come to trust Veer, even though little, which is why she grabbed Veer's jacket and did not take Jai's support. Infact, her turning around to look back at Jai could also be because she wanted to see if he tries to stop her or not.

Her blind defense of Jai could be her tactic to convince Jai that she is on his side, but ultimately she will be on the side of the truth. Jo galat hai woh galat hai, chahe koi bhi ho. Her not hurting Morni till now could be because she doesn't know yet, she is another partner in crime.

Agar dushman ho kar bhi woh Veer ki jaan bachati hai ye bolke ki woh bebas pe vaar nahi karti. To ye Jai ko sazaa dena se bhi peech nahi hategi. She stands for justice at all costs. So it could be she knows Jai's truth and wants to get to know who is trying to harm her and her clan because she knows Jai alone is incapable of doing so.

Additionally, I would say she is Sheshnagvanshi rakshak Adi Naagin. Showing her to be dim and stupid kuch jyaada hi galat ho jayega. Aur ye Kalyug ki kahaani hai. Veer obsessive ke saath saath sharp hai, Jai Adi Naagin ka joda hone ke saath saath kamina bhi hai, to Bani Adi Naagin ki tarah strong hone ke saath saath smart bhi to ho sakti hai na. What do you guys think?

She is aadi Naagin...even though she has flaws she should be sharp... 😊

Yeah.. aft ur post I rewatched khamoshiyaan seq... she should also be cunning as Jay.. as he is behaving goody goody in front of her to gain her trust and kill her..

She should also do the same.. Her revenge should be more brutal than Veer's....

you make really good points, matlab ho sakta hai for sure and this would be the twist we need. it makes sense that she doesn't like veer or doesn't care for him and cheel khandan but this jay jaap needs to stop and it would be amazing if she was playing a double game.

she has to a certain extent i think come to trust veer, the jacket scene intrigued me a lot and i keep watching that trying to dissect it. she could've taken jay's support.

veer and jay have arcs from satyug to kalyug but bani feels like she's falling short so i hope they show an arc and give her something more.

Adi Naagin ka joda Adi Naag nahi hai, it is our Cheelu darling. Aur shayad Satyug se hi Adi Naagin ka joda Cheelu hai,.. aaj tak koi bhi Naagin season mein Naagin ka joda koi Naag nahi bana. (except the second season) Adi Naagin is the first woman shape shifting creature, Adi Naag is the first man shape shifting creature in the Naagvansh, that's it, I don't see any possible romantic link in this - they were supposed to unite, but that ritual never happened due to Aakesh's intervention.

I mean they should give some character progression here to the Naagin. I mean Veer ka bhi humne dekh liya aur Jai ka bhi, lekin ab Bani ki baari hai.

Uska revenge to brutal hona chahiye, lekin I think usko smart bhi hona chahiye. I want to see that aspect of her. Koi Kalyug ke story me itna jyaada bholachand type ka hota nahi.

So, let's see, if the viewers plan to surprise us.

I mean they have managed to give relevant twists to this season. Aur show to Naagin pe hai, so I think she should be shown on top of her game. But that is my thought.

True that! There was some hidden meaning. Matlab underlying Bani trusts Veer more than Jai? It gave me the vibe that Bani knows Jai kya hai aur Veer hi usko protect karega.

I wish the same Sohini...On one side, i feel that she doesn't know about jay's truth because to prove his innocence that day she didn't care revealing the truth of teer's death infront of cheels but on the other side i feel you're right maybe this could be possible as when bani asked those pandits that how could jay die before her then they said to listen to your heart, you'll do nothing wrong and also she must have thought about who gave that nagfani poision to veer because jay asked bani that why did she save veer to which bani asked him how did he know that she has saved him then jay replied you don't have to tell me,i know everything about you....here she could have a doubt on him so to find out the truth she can play this game....

Possibilities to bahut hai, lekin ye Naagin ko bewaqoof dikhane wala scene mujhko samajh nahi aata. And she is not the ordinary one. She is the first of all Naagins. Status ke hisaab se dimaag to do behen ko. Ye kya baat hui.
