Why did Lord Shiva become angry when Naageswari killed Aakesh?

Naageswari killed Akesh because he killed her lover. She did not kill an innocent eagle. Then why did Lord Shiva become extremely angry and curse her? Did Lord Shiva become upset because Akesh was her actual soulmate?

In today’s episode it turns out that Hriday was jealous of Naageshwari and did not like the fact that she was above him. And Jay wants to kill Bani just to get her powers so perhaps Aakesh didn’t really do anything wrong in killing Hriday, plus he was ready to die at her hands.

Also I think there is some kind of connection between Aakesh and Shivji.

I don’t think that’s why Lord Shiva got angry. He got angry because Naageshwari allowed the eagles to enter the temple, leading to a massacre of a lot of Naag and Naagins. He granted her a boon and within days, she made this grievous error in judgement.

Yes, I also thought that when I watched 3rd episode. Still I was a little confused.

Naageshwari did nothing wrong, she had only allowed Aakesh in the temple as he made it seem like he about to die and regretted his actions earlier for which he begged for her forgiveness which apparently was a farce which she believed, those other cheels came in along with him and she was not aware of that. She only showed a supposedly dying person mercy and kindness even if it was an error I don’t think she deserved to get cursed for that alone.

There's also an underlying reason as to why Lord Shiva hasn't granted Bani the power to kill a Cheel unless a Cheel attacks her first. There has to be a strong link between Aakesh/Veer and Lord Shiva to explain why the Adi Naagin is destined to be with a Cheel & not someone of her kind.

It may have come from a place of kindness but it was definitely a big error in judgement when she uttered “main tum cheelon ko andar aane ki ijaazat deti hoon.” She could have just allowed Aakesh if she wanted to help him. But she allowed the entire clan of Cheels to enter. If that isn’t silly, I don’t know what is.

I won’t say anyone deserves to be cursed for that. But curse bhi kya hai uska? She is reincarnated as a beautiful Naagin again who has to figure out her life and make the right choices this time. Barely seems like a curse 🤷‍♀️

Must be. But I don’t think Lord Shiva is biased against eagles like Naageshwari was. He just seemed unhappy and disappointed that she made such a terrible error in judgement and innocents died due to her. Naageshwari basically lacked good sense in judging people in her first birth. So He cursed her to repeat a second time in another setting.

He also probably realised that in order for things to change in Kalyug, there had to be something tempering the Adi Naagin ka anger that Bani carries within her. The best way to ensure fairness of choice is to restrict her from attacking first, so that she learns to judge people properly, atleast in this lifetime.

If you remember season 1, peafowl had a boon from Indra dev that snake poison would be ineffective against them.

Perhaps Cheels also have a similar boon because if we were to look at hierarchy, Cheels are actually above naagins and are generally noble and sacred birds just like peacocks.

Not quite aware of the hierarchy. The Cheel clan is an interesting dynamic in this season, they are sworn enemies of the entire Naag vansh, and the Adi Naagin is meant to be with a Cheel, isn't it obvious that Veer is not an ordinary ichchadhari Cheel but someone beyond that. There has to be a divine angle in all this which will justify Adi Naagin's relationship with Veeranshu Singhania.
