I think Naagin 5 was very well promoted and Colors is still promoting Naagin everyday.

I saw a lot of buzz regarding this season too. But the difference is I saw some people refusing to watch because of the cheel naagin thing and again some being excited about it. Naagin lost half of its audience in this.

Then the trp consistently decreased post Dheeraj & Hina's exit. If N5 even managed to hold the 2.4 mark that would have still worked. But 1.6 is too low for the initial days of Naagin 5. All the other seasons did so much better.

I like the casting but I think there is nothing to look forward to this season going by the storyline. The concept of cheel naagin was intriguing but then they couldn't bring out anything extraordinary out of it. And now they're getting married with black sindoor and chains...matlab kuch bhi. They're making this more OTT each day for trp which I feel is destroying the show further ( just how they did with n4 )

I hope Naagin picks up its pace after the wedding. Naagin's wedding always works.

They really need to maintain some consistency , concentrate on the development and not on the romance. The scenes lack the connection , even the romantic scenes have no charm because they don't seem to FIT.

For a proper launch, you need at least 2 or 3 months before the premiere so you can create a buzz before hand. Yahaan pe they directly launched season 5 during the season 4 finale. That’s why it’s not working like how it used to before.

N5 was well promoted before launch even Colors TV still promoting the show and if actors/story are good enough then there is no promotion needed, the TRP they got, it stay stable at least, it doesn't go more down but here TRP is going down every week, actors and story failed to hold that. Hopefully coming week will be better

Not related to N5 but someone replied me in last TRP thread that N2 finale trp was 3.8 thats why N3 got better opening but here is the link see N2 finale week TRP was 1.8 as I clarified before and N3 was launched with 4.9 😛 so yeah even N3 TRP had nothing to do with the S2 TRP just like the story.

Few reasons why Naagin season 5 isn't getting high trp compared to the trp of the previous seasons.

1. The season didn't have a formal launch event.

2. The season has had a rushed beginning, it immediately followed Naagin 4. I still feel if this season had started after a gap of few months it would have easily raked in more trp. The viewers do need time to accept a new season of a popular show.

3. No repeat telecast, no proper promo.

This season has got serious potential in terms of the concept & actors. If only the makers work on the promotion of the show, Naagin 5 can become a hugely popular television show. I'm still hopeful, thus keeping my fingers crossed.

It's 1.8

Actually i think it was just corrected to 1.8 which means its holding steady. Ipl might have an impact, but its shown premium on hotstar which is where most people watch it and has its own audience. I dont think it will put that much of a dent on our show.
