Okay, so this is my theory -

Jay doesn't know that he is a shapeshifting snake but maybe someone else, possibly his parents, know. If they are not shapeshifting snakes then he is probably not their own son. Now , I think he does not have asthma attack. It is the restlessness, the discomfort that he faces while beginning to transform into a snake as he is unaware of his own truth and not used to doing it at will. To hide his true identity from himself as well as the world, someone has given him that inhaler which probably contains something magical that prevents him from changing into a snake. That's why as soon as he uses it, the restlessness is gone and his transformation stops then and there.

Sounds farfetched much? Nothing other than this makes sense to me about Jay. 😆

Mujhe itna hasi aaya yeh post dekh k 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ek toh character ki koi matlab nahi hai, koi importance hi nahi hai, upar se so bad acting. Matlab that transformation scene gave me kidney mein heart attack 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Not gonna lie. Even though I think even gaurav would look strange as naag, he would actually be able to seem more comfortable and convincing in the role. I'm not sure if all of you will agree with my suspicion here, but why do I feel ekta intentionally hired weak and bland actors in the form of both mohit's to play hriday, on top of writing his character so badly? This itself is giving hints that hriday/ jai is not the naagin's true soulmate as the production house are intentionally making him unappealing.
