Chapter 3

POV of that girl

I tried to open my eyes slowly. Its felt so heavy. Still I managed to open it a little.

'Where am I? What happened to me?' I tried to figure out. I looked around. I'm in a bed and someone standing near the window. I was not able to saw the person's face,but I'm sure it's a girl.

"Hii..." she said, coming towards me.

I just stared her.

" I found you unconscious, in the forest " she said slowly

Suddenly reality hit me. I remembered that 3 wolves were tried to.............

I panicked. The last thing I remembered from the incident that someone slapped me across my face and then all went black. What happend after that?

"Heyy....Relax....Don't worry....You are safe...Those wolves didn't get the time to do anything because I reached out to you on time" she told me like she understand my thoughts.

I looked at her."Thank you" I said slowly

"Hey...There's no need to say thanks....And I can say right now with confident that we are gonna be very good friends.."

I didn't understand what she is trying to say,but smiled at her. I saw that there is one more person inside the room and it's a man. I saw that he is walking towards me. I felt scared and shivered with fear. The girl who was standing near me surprised by my action. She looked back and then smiled.

"Hey....Don't panic....He is good guy... He is my bhai...."

I felt little relieved.

"By the way let me introduce us to you. His name is Dev Parekh and he is the Alpha of Mystic shadow pack. You are now at our pack house. And my name is Meena" she looked at me,smilingly.

And I understand that she is waiting for me to say something.

"Brinda.... My name is Brinda...."

Dev's POV

I saw that my mate is open her eyes slowly. Meena goes towards her. I really felt bad when she panicked about what happend in the forest. But Meena was there,soothing her.She finally saw me and she was scared. I was able to read it from her eyes and action.

'Good...My mate is scared of me...' I thought,sadly.

'Hey..Don't worry..She won't gets scared once she find out who you are..'My wolf,Rex said to me.

'I hope so...' I said to him.

I slowly walked towards her. I understand that its her fear, because of her fear she is not able to find out that I'm her mate. Meena looked at me and said that I'm her brother.I saw little relief in my mate's face. Then Meena introduced us to her ans waited for her to speak.

"Brinda....My name is Brinda...." she finally said.

'Brinda...beautiful name... ' I thought

'How about Brinda Parekh...' my wolf asked

'Shut up Rex'

Me and Meena looked at each other. She nodded and turn towards to Brinda.

"Ok Brinda...Will see you later...My bhai wants to talk to you........mmm....Something very important.. "

I saw fear in Brinda's eyes when Meena said that. Meena hold her hand "Don't worry...He won't hurt you....neither let anyone to hurt you...never ever.... You can trust him.... I'll be back soon..."saying this she left the room after giving me a smile.

Brinda's POV

So now I'm at Mystic Shadow's pack house. I looked at the man who is standing there. He slowly walks towards me and sat at the end of the bed. I waited for him to speak.

"I'm sorry.." he said

'Wait? What? Sorry? Why?' I thought

"Those men are from our pack who tried to....." he stopped incomplete. But I understood what he ment. The Alpha saying sorry to me for something which was not his fault. He shouldn't say sorry for those b******s doing. "And I banned them from the pack" He said.

"You shouldn't say sorry..That was not your fault.." I said slowly

First I saw disbelief in his face, but soon its replaced with a bbeautiful smile.

"He is so handsome" I thoight. I saw that he is staring me with so much love and care in his eyes. Wait.. love and care? But why? Why he is looking me like that? I get confused . But I blushed under his burning stare.

"You are my mate" he said

'wow...that's awsome...I'm his mate' my mind said happily.

But wait...?? Whatttt ??? What did he just said?

"What?" I tried to ask him in a seriousness in my voice. But it come out in a funny way.He chuckled seeing my reaction. 'Why he is chuckled? I'm serious. At least I'm trying to be serious '

"We are mates. Do you not feel the pull..?" He looked at me.

I stared at him. And my wolf, Elsa who is just recovering from the incident too very carefully and excitedly hearing what the Alpha saying.

"I don't know what the pull is" I said to him looking into his eyes.

He looked at me amusingly and said " You feel happy and comfort in my presence. You will extremely attracted to your mate.And if I touch you, you'd feel tingles go through your body" he stopped for a moment and then continued "and I think you and your wolf just recovering from the incident,so that's why you didn't feel the pull when you saw me"

Its true that I really feel happy and comfort in his presence. I slowly moved towards him. He stayed still observing my every action. I slowly and gently placed my hand on his cheek. Tingles come across my finger tips and spread throughout my hand. slowely I cupped his face in my hands. I saw that he slowly closing his eyes,feeling my touch.

Dev's POV

When I said her that she is my mate,she was confused. And I was afraid that she will not accept me. But her reaction make me chuckle.I understand that she doesn't feel the pull.And I explained it to her looking in her eyes.

She is beautiful and innocent. I can stay all day just staring her. I saw that she is slowly moving towards me. She forwarded her hand,touched my cheek. Tingles run through my face and I know same happend with her from her eyes. She slowly cupped my face staring into my eyes. I slowly closed my eyes feeling her touch.

'Our mate is accepting us' Rex said to me

'Yes Rex, and we wil take it slowly and steadily gaving her all the time she need ' I said to him.

P.S : May be some of you guys thinks how Dev get to know that Brinda is his mate. So let me explain it to you guys.

Its Moon Goddess who choose the mates for werewolves. Its she who decided whom to mate with whom. Therefore the werewolves know the instant they set eyes on their mate. More than the person,its the wolf who is inside him find out it so fast. When they catch the one of a kind scent of their mate, their wolf goes crazy. After that when they touch, they feel electricity or tingles goes through the body.

Hope now you guys get clear on how the finding mate things work.
