We are also from that same generation. And honestly I pretty much like the change. I would rather have jasmine stick with her innocent vengeful naagin image rather than turning into a seductress unnecessarily. The role of the seductress was normally played by the supporting naagins I.e. Anita and adaa. They were the helpers of the main naagin out to seek revenge. In nayantara’s eyes rather than seduction, I find hatred and pretense most of the time and that is very justified given it’s her revenge and provided she isn’t some supporting naagin because till now the episodes have clearly established her as Manyata’s and Keshav’s daughter and Brinda as a normal girl having nothing to do with the revenge plot.

Nayantara hates Dev which is very evident in her eyes and that overshadows everything including the seduction. However with the other characters she seemed pretty fine when it came to playing the part of being a “seductress” which again I feel is not really required.

story whatever .. but unfortunately i still could not connect myself with jasmine as naagin... ada , Anita kay liye first day se , even from promo jo connection feel hui , for me i could not get any kind of attraction for nayantara ... again i really like jass .. in Tenny character she just slayed and still i adore her for this, in kkk9 she was superb . but in Naagin , something majorly lack in her here from day 1 .. even the walk of her during intro , that was also lacked of spark n charm ... and her eyes itna sweet and innocent hai , usmai peyar aa jati hai , but woh tashan nei . anyway it is just the start .. jaruri nei hai day 1 sei kisi ke sath connection ho jaye .. shahed waqt lage gi ... but abhi kay liye this is my POV for jasmine as naagin .

Guys it’s simple fact

Jasmine is innocent cute n her voice also very sweet innocent uski innocence ko makeup n expressions se dabaya jaraha hai par woh nahi dab rahi she has that image also after khatron ke khiladi she has garnered viewers love for her innocent image.
jasmine ko positive innocent character dena chahiye tha

Like brinda one 🤔 Even in the precap in that white dress dancing with Dev jasmine is looking beautiful 😳

Now for Nia sharma I strongly confidently say this Nia Sharma can rule Naagin if she is shown Bold strong Hot character with a mix of negative shade n her sexy voice she would have earned praises n slayed in the show bcz she has that in her I don’t understand why they gave her this brinda role Naintara ka dete 🤔 this innocent next door girl I m really not kicking in with to be very honest.

Now look at Shayantani she is so apt for naagin revengeful shade 👍🏼

Ab it’s on makers of naagin to accept it or not bcz after all it’s the show that’s more important than anything else janta ki bhi Sunni chahiye as we r the viewers watching n biggest critics we got our mindsets n expectations.

In that case Jasmine’s character is different from Adaa’s and Anita’s and this is my opinion as a viewer since season 1. Coming to her previous shows I did not watch any of her previous shows hence I guess as I’m watching her on tv for the first time I am able to accept her and find her performance pretty decent.

Coming to Nia, I have watched her on twisted and Jamai 2.0 where she is shown playing really bold characters, her playing an innocent sweet character I guess should be difficult for me to accept as well but then again each show has a different story and characters and as fans I feel we should give them all a chance to grow into their characters. Each season of Naagin doesn’t necessarily have to be a repetition of the previous season moreover given that this time we have two lead actresses as shown in the promos where they assert story surrounding two naagins instead of one unlike the previous ones.

It didn’t work because that was a meh show with crappy writers. Nothing made sense.

Nia has proved her acting skills over the years, And She’s doing okish as Brinda. Ones off screen image doesn’t matter if they’re a good or passable actors which Nia is.

Dosto! this girl need more experience to play such a powerful character, it looks like this is her first show and she hasn't prepared for a role like Nayantara or rehearsed for it.

Even Beyonce rehearse for every performance she does!

sorry for the language but it looks like she is an amateur actress (role like Happy), In Fear Factor and interviews, her behavior is very unmature. I think Ekta mam will regret to give her this role.
