Yes, Mahir is smart. He is not so stupid as to start blaming Bella for a crime she did not commit. This n3 is full of unexpected twist. Like how Bella mother was first shown to be dead, then revealed to be alive the next week. This season is also full of misleading promo. I think there is still hope for all of us. Even in one of the promo there was a scene where Bella told Vikrant that she was going to kill Mahir only to be revealed later on that she knew all along that it was Vikrant who tried to kill Bella's mom.
