Their first meeting was unlike any TV couple ever. Very ordinary. Very normal and casual.
I was really intrigued then. Ekta loves her dramatic meetings, specially of soulmates lol. That was the time I felt either Ekta is very confident in her script or she won't give much importance to lead pair's equation this season. But they've literally become the spinal cord here. Means she was sure where she is heading with them. Whatcha think?

Okay full disclosure, I have returned to India television after a decade, I have not watched previous naagin series. But I have watched my shade of Ekta.,! So yeah I do get what you are implying.

Me watching the premier was fluke, I had no idea who the actors were apart from Anitha, It still caught my attention, the thing you mentioned above is what caught my eye! The initial introduction of the characters were so cliched, sweet bubbly Girl under financial pressure from a middle class family, the guy perfect dude from a rich family, then a hot stylish vamp.

I continued watching because I realised something was very fishy and see, the girl turned out to be a proud naagrani, the guy has deep seated unresolved anxieties, the vamp turned out to be a daasi!

This normalcy of their relationship is what roped me in,

But I still feel she kept open ends to all characters in this particular series and modified it according to its reception.
