I feel Vikrant did it on purpose so that he can stay at sehgal mansion as he can't leave some one is murdered in the house and also it looks like some one has purposefully made that blood trail so that kuhu can see it..and vikrant was waiting for kuhu to make his special announcement..as he knew that she will see the blood trail and he don't have to say anything as everyone will be busy with finding the killer

Reasons why he wants to stay at sehgal's house..

1.Nagmani as now bela is not going to marry him so he has to find some other way to get nagmani..

2. He is a kind of person who will not let go bela so easily he must be pretending to be good infront of bela and he may plan to kill mahir thinking that he is the root cause of all the problems..

Yes Vikrant is definitely pretending to let Bela go..But I dont think he killed Anu himself...maybe his mom or whoever that lady was in haveli last week killed Anu to help vik stay as yuvi...
