I thought those women were the part of the procession only because of their dressing but it would be great if they were just normal passerby's because then they would be able to help Mahir. Even i have a feeling thats its going to be Mahir who saves Bela.
Idk what significance that dagger had but it would be heart wrenching to see Bela wounded and Mahir jee doing everything he can to save her
