i dont remember exactly but i think season 1 got trp of 4 even during india pak match...

Of course which sane person will be interested in watching Mr.nanguraj to contribute to the show's trps? Trps would obviously fall below 3.0 points thanks to nanguraj track!

i don't understand why people are so obsessed with trps...its just a game...either it works or it doesn't...yes i understand its viewership but than you don't know what makes it work and what don't...

if you look carefully...all the good content shows are going off air and has gone off air we have a list of it..all the craps like Naagin series...KKB...YHM...Shakti...SNS...YRKKH are ruling the charts...rare gems like Shani is ruling the chart with real audience once a while...youth shows are way more popular too but they are not included in GEC list...while other channels are not making into the list though they have a good story and content to tell...due to less viewership...do you know why is the reason...when the producers themselves can't understand the funda of BARC...how can us understand...

furthermore the calculation of trps of a daily shows...weekend shows and 1hr daily show is different...they mixed up all into one list...when the calculation are different...

a daily show calculation is based on the 6 days average...for certain channels...some channel they air 5 days...so its 5 days calculation...the extra 1 day comes into coming week calculation

a 1 hr daily show calculation...based on the 45 mins...they show daily...its the most difficult calculation as they need to break it with 5 days of airing...as its competing with the daily shows

a weekend show is based on 2 epis calculation within the 1 hr duration...i don't bloody understand why is it even being competing with the daily shows...

the calculation are different...so how can it be decided...what is good...what is best...what is bad...what is worst...

trps are down doesn't mean...its a bad show...trps are up doesn't mean its a good show...

noone can predict trps...its has ups n downs...

a show drags...trps are constant down...suddenly something happens and it rules the trps chart...either they show something sensible that the trps are up or they show something very stupid and the trps up...sometimes both doesn't work...

noone can predict trps funda...noone knows how it works

gone are days of KSBKBT...KGGK...KZK...Bidaai...DKDMD days even Kumkum EK Pyara Sa Bandhan had more trps for an afternoon slot rather than the current afternoon slots...which even S1 trps is nothing compared to that...yes i agree those days there were no much channels but then viewership were so high those days while now even with more channels the viewership is still low...its going down further...look at SP state...it use to rule 12+ trps those days drop to only 2+ trps nowadays...their highest is maximum 3.1...Colors is sliding down so is Zee...all the channels are seen a drop

just look at the trps scale...shows used to have 12-13+ trps...8-9+trps before in just urban those days no rural calculations were recorded...compare it to now where trps in just urban is 5+...6...3+...2+...1+...see the pattern...even people are not watching too much TV shows...the viewership just drops drastically over the years rather than seeing a increase...just to increase viewership...they now include rural trps...

i analyse this much only...those cribbing abt trps...noone knows how it works...neither us the audience...producers...directors or actors themselves

you could bring 2 popular actors in a show but still you will not get the desired trps...

you can bring 2 less known actors but the trps will soar high

you can re-repeat the same couple from the original show for a S2 due to fans demand...the first time it works in the original...but the second time it doesn't work with the same couple

sometimes its just the solid fanbase that makes the show work like KKB..YRKKH...Naagin series ruling the GEC chart

sometimes the popular actor leaves the show...it becomes a crisis...one good example IPKKND 1...there is no other way but to shut the show

thats how trps works...one really don't know how it works...

the only thing we can do either praise or criticise it...

at first i was interested in this trps funda...but when i try to look into deeper things...i realise its too difficult to understand that i care least now though it is tempting to learn...thanks to KKB fans who taught me at least the basic calculation of trps...how it works...they are brainy in this matter
